Honest-Professional-Real & Timely

I was frantically trying to find an attorney in Texas for a case that was to take place in less than a week. She was the only one that took the time to talk to me the moment I called and didn't charge 150-250 for that consultation. She told me the facts, what she thought would happen and followed thr...ough on what she promised. She informed me the minute the case was complete and hopefully will be assisting me on collecting child support.

Crappy atty

was served by this person in a divorce modification case. she had the style of the case right, but the body of the pleading was an amalgamation of 2 other cases. and, the certificate of service was for a 3rd client of hers. oh, and she of course blamed it on her asst, but isn't the atty the one that ...signs off on pleadings? whenever i mention her name to other attys, they all either laugh or roll their eyes. she's a horrible lawyer and would only recommend her to people i want to see lose a case!

Clearly this was the opposing party to the case. I was able to prevail in this case and he is now complaining.

An Attorny You Can Embrace as Part of Your Family

Ms. Leecraft welcomed me as a client and made me feel at ease from day one of our journey. She was straight-forward and told me it was not easy but assured me that I had a solid case. Her truthfulness made me feel that I had chosen the right person to enter into a relationship with me and my family.... Ms. Leecraft was extremely supportive and helped me understand the legal process -step by step without missing a beat. And ultimately, she resolved my case and I will forever be grateful.

End Result was a Win/Win

Working with Judy Leecraft, Joe Newberry, and the staff at the firm was a great experience in what is inevitably a less than desirable situation. In my particular case, my ex-wife violated the educational plan for our kids as spelled out in the divorce decree, changing schools and extending the gradu...ation date of my youngest son from high school. Because child support termination was (in part) based on the educational plan, we ended up in a no-mans-land that could have led to a legal quagmire, for both of us, with no clear understanding of when child support actually ends. Judy and Joe were able to quickly plan and execute a strategy that neatly untangled the legal issues and conclusively settled all problems. And, believe it or not, my ex-wife and I both agree that the end result was a win/win situation! Great job, Judy and Joe!

Great Lawyers Great Firm

I entrusted Judy and her team to help me when another lawyer in town lost a temporary orders hearing and I lost custody of my four year old son to my girlfriend. My girlfriend had been using dangerous drugs. CPS was called because my son had drugs in his system when he was born. My girlfriend kept... using drugs after he was born and one day she left me a note, took the baby, and moved to Mississippi. Even after this, my former attorney lost the hearing and the judge gave my son's mother Sole Custody. I called Judy. She jumped into action right away. After she sent out some very tough questions in discovery to my ex, my ex stabbed my son at a public park, when I was there to pick him up. She stabbed herself, too, in the stomach, then blamed me, saying I stabbed her and my son in a fit of anger. We had hearing after hearing, which I couldn't afford, for which Judy reduced my fees and fought like a mother bear. She won custody for me in another hearing, and my ex had to be supervised. We had a final hearing when the grandparents got involved and asked for custody of my son - her parents - and in a two week trial, Judy and Melissa got me custody of my son for good. My ex is supposed to be tried for her criminal behavior in January. She has been in jail for violating her probation. I think Judy had something to do with that, too. If you want a team that is willing and able to fight hard, someone who really cares about children, and someone who can see that sometimes the person who has been accused is not the perpetrator - can see through the BS - hire Judy and her team. You cannot go wrong with them. I used to say sometimes that "all was lost" but then my father would remind me "You've got Judy" and I would remember that she always had my back. Judy, Joe and the paralegals and the firm are the best, not only in Austin, but in Georgetown and I suspect in San Antonio. When I would mention Judy's name to anyone, guardians, other attorneys, sheriffs, police officers, or other legal type people, I always heard that she had the reputation of winning, fighting for your rights, and being ethical at the same time. Great attorneys, great firm.
