also known as Polo Gonzalez
Mr. Gonzalez has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and featured in Texas Monthly since 2014. Super Lawyers only selects 2.5% of the licensed active attorneys in the state as Rising Stars making this a significant accolade.
Polo first moved to Austin in 1997, where he attended The University of Texas. Four years later, he graduated with High Honors and received the George Foreman Tribute to Lyndon B. Johnson Scholarship, which recognizes an outstanding journalism scholarship and service. As an undergraduate, he also completed an internship at Fox7 News in Austin and then at CBS Sports in New York during the summer of 2000.
After graduating in 2001, Mr. Gonzalez began working as a TV news reporter/weekend anchor in Laredo, Texas, where he covered law and politics, including the 2002 Texas gubernatorial race. He also taught middle school for a year before returning to Austin to attend The University of Texas School of Law.
At UT Law, Polo learned from some of the best lawyers in Austin as he represented indigent clients for the Criminal Defense Clinic and also worked part-time at a local firm specializing in personal injury cases. After several years working as an associate attorney for established San Antonio and Austin litigation firms, Polo founded his own law firm to represent victims and their families in personal injury cases. Combining top academic credentials with a broad range and depth of trial experience, Polo is proud to be an advocate for those that have been injured and seek justice.
Each case is taken very seriously and Polo works diligently and efficiently to tailor a plan to fit each client’s individual needs. His goal is simple: to achieve outstanding solutions for his client’s legal problems.
