I hired Jennifer Silva last summer for a modification of custody orders and child support enforcement. My initial consultation was great, she took the time to get to know me, asked questions, looked over my then current divorce papers and pointed out a few mistakes! (From another lawyer). During cour...t proceedings she took full control, was very confident and a little intimidating (which is a great thing). We ended up agreeing on temporary orders which worked out perfectly for my son! For our final hearing, which was today! (Almost a year later) My ex never even showed up! She walked me through the next steps and informed me what I was entitled to since he wasn't there to plead his case. Lets just say because of her, I was able to get everything I requested! I couldn't be more happier! The only issue is with the office secretaries, its kind of annoying leaving messages with them because you don't always get a call back, which I understand because they have tons of clients!

I hired the Locke Group to handle a multistate child support and custody case. I initially worked with attorney Jason, who left the firm, and I was then reassigned to Jennifer. Both attorneys appeared unable to coordinate with the State's general attorney to give me a clear answer on whether I could ...pursue child support from my ex in Texas — a question I have been trying to resolve for over a year without a definitive response. Communication has been a consistent problem throughout my case. Outside of scheduled court appearances, my requests for meetings and updates have frequently gone unanswered for weeks to months with no communication and making no progress on cases. My most recent court date was in early June 2026, after which Jennifer was expected to schedule a follow-up hearing and address the child support determination and finalize the custody modification. Since then, I have not heard from her despite sending numerous messages requesting a call — it has now been two months. When I raised this issue with her legal aides, I found their responses unprofessional and dismissive. They claimed she had no action pending on her side for my case which shows how incompetent they are. She never even told her aides what was pending and now the case has stalled for 2 months when it could have been resolved by now. They all refused to schedule a call with me on her calendar. Mind you, i'masking for a quick 20 min call to review my case and next steps, not an hours long conference call. Given the lack of communication and the months long delays this has caused in my case, they forced me to hire a new lawyer. Now Jennifer is retaliating by not giving my new lawyer my case files. I HAVE FILED A GRIEVANCE AGAINST THIS LAW FIRM AS THE ACTIONS ABOVE DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR CODE OF ETHICS. THEY HAVE BROKEN 4 OF THE ETHICS THEY ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW. I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking a knowledgeable lawyer who follows their code of ethics, communicates clearly, meets deadlines, and handles cases with urgency. Hire at your own risk
