Mark L. Medley

My case last from 2012 to 2017. It was very exhausting and awful, My ex husband and his wife tried effortlessly to cause my sons harm while my then current husband was dying from brain cancer. Note: My ex husband did not have a visitation order(on purpose). It was a long case, I was very emotional..., and Mr Medley was amazing.....he wont hold your hand BUT I promise if you see him in action in the courtroom he is AMAZING and his reputation follows him! I have a son with autism and he now has lifetime childsupport, my ex husband did not accomplish any items he set out to do.He has no visitation, and has to pay reinbursement of health insurance and half of all private school tuition. In full trial Mr Medley was able to pick apart his entire case! He is AMAZING. We did not start this case by any means....it was done to cause me harm...BUT Mr Medley made sure I was taken care of!! And compared to my ex-husbands attorney fees, Mr Medley was only 1/4th of the cost. I can not say enough wonderful things about Mark Medley. Let me add when the OAG finally enforced the excessive amounts of child support owed, my ex husband hired another pricey attorney who tried to tear me apart. I was told after the OAG hearing by multiple attorneys "Mark Medley trained you well"! I was able to stay calm and kept redirecting all the questions back to the matter at hand "Only child support"! Again, Mark Medley is AMAZING in trial in the courtroom....you would rather have him on your side than against him!!! Especially if you have a child with special needs!! I dont see the stars to rate him but definitely 5!

Seventeen years ago was my first experience having Mark as my lawyer. Before Mark I had been living in a battered women's shelter with my children, going through a very long and rough divorce, but with a decently good lawyer that the shelter offered me. Then my attorney from the battered women's shel...ter became ill and I was without a lawyer. I went through two other very bad lawyers before I was referred to Mark. Mark was my saving grace. He is like a hammer in the court room and very protective of his clients, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable of the law. Through the last seventeen years I have called on Mark as my lawyer when needed, and referred him to many different people; family and friends. He has always done a great job for myself and those I have referred him to. Mark is the "Superman" of lawyers who is well respected, extremely knowledgeable, and a very good person. If you have ever had a bad lawyer, you know how important it is to have a good one. He is one of the good ones, and the only one I trust to be sitting next to me in the court room as my lawyer.

Medley is currently working my case and I have to say he gets things done. Upon taking my case, it was in such disarray and very well underway (5 years of litigation underway). Right away he started cleaning things up, setting hearings and didn't mess around with opposing counsel who dragged their fe...et on everything. I think people need to understand, that their case is not the only case being worked on. When it mattered, Mark contacted me and kept me informed in a timely manner. The relationship works best when he's not being micro-managed which I understand so I do give him time to return calls and/or emails. We talk on a weekly basis and I also work well with his paralegal Lori. We talk over case strategy and he really makes me feel like we are a team. He does cost a pretty penny so if you don't have at least 10k to put down, you may want to look elsewhere. I will tell you that I'm very happy thus far. I hired Mark at the recommendation of a friend to help me with a custody suit. I found him to be very effective and knowledgeable and was able to win my case. One of my concerns with hiring an attorney was having my bill run up. I know many people who seem to get taken advantage of financially, so it... must not be rare (unfortunately).
