Seventeen years ago was my first experience having Mark as my lawyer. Before Mark I had been living in a battered women's shelter with my children, going through a very long and rough divorce, but with a decently good lawyer that the shelter offered me. Then my attorney from the battered women's shel...ter became ill and I was without a lawyer. I went through two other very bad lawyers before I was referred to Mark. Mark was my saving grace. He is like a hammer in the court room and very protective of his clients, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable of the law. Through the last seventeen years I have called on Mark as my lawyer when needed, and referred him to many different people; family and friends. He has always done a great job for myself and those I have referred him to. Mark is the "Superman" of lawyers who is well respected, extremely knowledgeable, and a very good person. Mr. Medley took on my case after it was decenlty underway. He gave me much more confidence in my case than my previous attorney and started straightening out matters right away. Because of his experience, he is not easily shaken by attacks of the opposing party, which is very helpful. I would have ...liked to see more availability and more preparation before the custody trial as far as the witnesses went. My best friend wasn't even sure who was questioning her when she was put on the stand, so her testimony was very choppy and hindered (she thought she was being questioned by the opposing party and was hesitant with her information). I also feel that the asked for geo restriction (should the jury vote FOR a restriction) should have been more broad, but I am ultimately pleased and am still in contact with Mr. Medley. He is busy, so be prepared to assist in your own case where possible, but he does know what he's doing, so definitely would recommend.
