Harold C. Zuflacht

It's difficult to add to all the positive reviews given about Harold Zuflacht, but here is my story: I hired Harold to take over my divorce which had been thoroughly mangled by the first attorney I hired. Just when I thought things were unnecessary hopeless, he came into the picture and helped me ...get things back on track, most importantly straightening out visitations with our daughter. Through a long and arduous divorce, Harold remained focused on the big picture, thus keeping me grounded and with a similar goal. Things worked out better than expected and my only regret is not hiring Harold first. This man is just the right amount of warrior and diplomat that you want on your side, especially if there are kids involved. I'm pleased to report that I am currently working with Harold again after several years! This time for a much more pleasant reason.

Mr. Zuflacht and his staff did a wonderful job representing myself and my child. Not once did he think about anything else but the best possible solution for all parties! When I first arrived to meet Harold Zuflacht, I was a broken man. My wife had shocked me with a divorce notice, and had gone into hiding with our two young children. In addition she had drained all of our bank accounts and run up credit card bills that I did not know were in existence. Unequivocally I can attest that Harold Zuflacht is the absolute best when it pertains to family law. He has the unique ability to empathize with what people are feeling at the absolute worst time in their life, yet he has the sound judgement to provide them the absolute best legal representation. Harold helped me to prioritize what was most important to me, my children followed by being financially sound enough to properly provide for them. Harold Zuflacht provided both in a manner beyond my wildest dreams by the conclusion of my divorce. When you are experiencing the absolute worst moment in your life, you need an attorney that has the understanding of family law to fully protect your interest yet simultaneously the humanity of being a caring, compassionate friend. I certainly found both in Harold Zuflacht, and for that I am forever grateful.

Harold Zuchflact represented me during my divorce as well as the subsequent custody battle for my two children. Harold took the time to speak to me outside the confines of legal representation to explain to me the importance of taking care of myself first, so that I could be in a position of strength... to properly care for my children. I cannot overstate Harold Zuflacht's knowledge of family law and his ability to perceive every possible legal outcome and appropriate plan of action. However one of the greatest services that Harold provided me is protecting me from myself. Too many times during the course of my divorce I would begin to fall victim to my soon to be ex spouse's sob stories and I would enter the all too familiar trap of wanting to "save" him as I had throughout the course of our marriage. Harold ensured that I never faltered and convinced me (rightly so) that giving in prematurely would not only be detrimental to my own future, but more importantly that of my children. In a manner of speaking, while caring for my legal needs Harold simultaneously told me it was okay to be happy in this next chapter of my life. His advice definitely took hold, for I was able to put both of my children through college and have never been happier. It meant so much to me, I even invited Harold to my wedding many years later, for without him I never could have reached this point in my life.
