I cannot write the words to describe how grateful I am for Mr. Zuflacht and the team at HHZ. He was not my first attorney, but when I made the difficult decision to switch to his firm, I felt immediately, that he was the right attorney for my cause. My case was difficult from the onset, convoluted wi...th conflict, and exasperated by a difficult opposing party determined to drag it out as long as possible, even going so far as to taking it to a jury trial. I found early on that Mr. Zuflacht and I made a good team. He communicated very well, and told me what I needed to hear, not always what I wanted to hear. He worked with me to make the best case, pouring through thousands of pages of documents, grasping the minute details of each of the issues at hand. He worked feverishly to ensure that my family was safe and helped to build an expert team to set clear boundaries within the court orders, and come to a final agreement at what was the 11th hour. Throughout the last 2.5 years, I have had the pleasure to get to know Mr. Zuflacht beyond just the legal world. And his commitment to integrity, honesty, truth, and compassion are clearly qualities that have been established in his own personal life. These qualities are evident in his professional work as well. In hearings and in front of the judges he is calm, organized, well spoken, never one to raise his voice or argue, but clearly defends his clients with strong points that are meticulously backed up with facts. But he is not afraid of the fight. He does not cede to legal bullying, but at the same time is respectful to the other side, while ensuring his client is supported and protected. His correspondence with his clients, both in writing and in person, are concise, well thought out, but clearly detailed so as not to have any remaining questions. In regards to the staff at HHZ, never have I seen a more organized group of men and women, committed to their clients and each step along the way. They would keep me informed of what was needed, were gracious and courteous both over the phone and in person, and were always professional, cheerful, encouraging and focused. They spent countless hours pouring over minute details, page after page of documents, organizing each aspect into clear categories and narrowing down exactly what we would need for mediation as well as if the case should go to trial. In mediation, he takes the lead and can be trusted to get the best settlement possible for his client. He did so and more for me. After multiple failed attempts, a last minute call and a new strategy approach, and we were able to settle my case with one full day session that left me at peace and truly happy with the outcome. He consistently guided me through the process, easing my fears, but also making good suggestions in places I had not considered. He held strong, knowing what our end goal was and was resolved to hold fast to those goals. And our final mediation was nothing short of a miracle, and I can truly say, I got everything I wanted. While I must address that this case cost my family an immense amount of money due to all the legal proceedings, experts, and outside professionals associated with it, I can defend it and say that it was well worth it. I can sleep tonight knowing that he fought for me from day 1, every day, to the end, to keep my family safe. We made a great team. For that, I am beyond grateful.
