Mark was absolutely wonderful. After my ex-husband failed to place my child on the plane for a visit, I found myself hearing from the Sheriff's off that "this was a civil matter and I must contact an attorney" if I wanted to see my child. I was dumbfounded- I thought the custody arrangement that was ...in place actually stopped this kind of thing. In a panic I called several lawyers in the San Antonio area looking for help. This process hasn't be easy, but Mark has guided me through the entire thing. I never had to wait for answer, he was/is entirely accessible. My telephone calls and e-mails are answered promptly. The staff at Ecke and Poling have been so nice and I never once have been given any kind of run around whatsoever. The best thing about Mark is that he's remained committed to doing the right thing- as I am in this process. It has been extremely important that what we do is the right thing for my child- not the right thing for me, or anyone else. Mark has done what is best and what is reasonable. At no time have I been led to believe that something could be done when it couldn't (or shouldn't). He spelled out what I can expect and what is reasonable to expect. He's been completely honest- even sometimes when I didn't want him to be. There have been no surprises through this process and he has countered the opposition swiftly and smartly. He anticipated what the opposing side would do before they even did it and he was ready when they did. I could go on and on... Bottom line, if you're looking for an attorney that will treat you with respect and truly care about what is happening, Mark is an excellent choice.

Mark helped me obtain my divorce. He made sure I understood all the steps I had to take before the court would approve my divorce. He stayed in touch with me and answered all of my questions.
