Matt graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. After a couple of years of working as a photographer, Matt enrolled at St. Mary’s School of Law and graduated in 2011. In law school, Matt participated in the Civil Justice Clinic and earned his Pro Bono Service certificate.

Upon graduating, Matt immediately opened the Law Office of Matthew S. Norris. In addition to personal injury and employment cases, Matt cut his teeth on all types of cases, including divorce, child custody, criminal, business disputes, consumer law and probate matters. Matt eventually decided to limit his practice to the representation of those who had been injured through no fault of their own and of those who had been unlawfully terminated from their job.

Matt is licensed to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court and the Western Federal District Court of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice and currently sits on the on boards of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association.

Matt is the proud father of three boys and one girl. He enjoys coaching little league baseball, backpacking and playing guitar.

Astounding Job!

Matthew Norris gets down to business, the most important thing to me is that not only did his paralegal Mandy always keep me updated with my case, but she worked hard to make less stress for me. I am so very thankful Matthew Norris made each phone call, court visit, and office visit comfortable for not only me, but also for my family. The outcome was better than predicted. He really does fight like Chuck !

Matt took care of my families needs and was very persistent with the a fair outcome for not just me but my daughter. He is a great attorney and I would use him if my family ever needed a attorney again.

Very caring

He is handling my divorce/custody case and is very caring and takes his time to make sure I understand what is going on. He is very personable and always gets right back to me on questions. I would recommend him to anyone!
