Father fighting for custody and won with Kate!

Where to begin. After almost 2 years of litigation fighting for custody of my son, Kate Soulsby and her staff have basically become family. I am a single Father with no legal experience, so I had no clue what my rights were or that I even had a chance at winning primary custody. With Kate on my si...de, I was able to do just that. I knew I needed council, but knew absolutely nothing about the law, legal processes, or where to start. After hearing my situation, a friend (recently divorced) recommended I speak to her attorney and I am so glad I did. Kate and her team took immediate action, were patient, understanding, extremely responsive, and coached me through everything during some VERY STRESSFUL times. There were many instances I just wanted to give up and drop it all due to stress, financial strains, moving twice, and loss of faith…but Kate and June would always calm me down and reassure me I was making the right decisions. (Of course being my first time having to go through something like this, the thought crossed my mind - "Do they have my best interest in mind, or is this just Business") - After it is all said and done, I have to say that my best interest was without a doubt Kate's Business, and she is extremely good at what she does. I'm so grateful I listened and stayed in the fight to protect my child's best interest. I could not have done it without Soulsby Law. Highly Recommend this team!

The Best Ever!

Where do I begin? This has been a long and stressful journey. But every step of the way Kate and her team guided me, helped me understand, kept me in the loop on things, made sure I had everything prepared and ready. They really care and truly show compassion when it comes to their clients. She sta...yed confident throughout this 2 year long custody battle. When it was all said and done she got the job done. Even when I doubted myself and got frustrated Kate and her team always reassured me that everything would work out. The knowledge and confidence that she has is like no other that I have seen. Best I've Had!

I have been dealing with a VERY complex definitely not your average child custody case that has been going on almost 4 years now it's always getting pushed back or at a stand stilI have retained attorney after attorney. Some didn't really seem to care about my case, some were afraid of the opposing c...ounsels attorney, didn't want to take my case because of the complexity of it, or some were just simply not educated. When I started looking for a new attorney at the beginning of the year, I came across Kate Soulsby's firm. From the moment I called her and explained my case she sounded VERY confident, and made me feel like it was the right decision to go with her. She has always been available, communicates very effectively and quickly. Everyone who works with her are very attentive and hard workers just like her. Kimberly Hall, June Maldonado, and Stephanie, are all respectful and kind. Kate was the first attorney that I've had that was not intimidated but the opposing parties attorney as my previous attorneys were. Custody and Child Support

In 2015 and 2016, I hired Kate for custody and child support orders. I was a single mom; my daughter was not quite 2 and I was 5 months pregnant. From the first meeting, Kate did such a great job at allaying my fears. She worked with me to make everything affordable, and she had my best interests in ...mind as well as those of my children. She made the whole process as easy as possible and was always very responsive. And that includes her staff as well; any time I reached out, they were warm and professional and nothing but helpful. I got everything I wanted and even more so, everything I deserved. And this was even with briefly reconciling with my ex after the birth of our son which was after I initially retained her in 2015. When I went back to her, I was concerned that my credibility would be questioned, but she was very understanding and my brief lapse in judgment didn't hinder any progress we had made after all. It was such a difficult and emotional time for me and I'm so thankful I found Kate. I have referred co-workers to her and they have also had nothing but good things to say. I would hire her again without hesitation.
