Scott’s guidance during a very complex professional negligence case proved invaluable. He is exceedingly knowledgeable and organized as well as patient and considerate. Scott thoroughly explained the legalities allowing us to participate more fully in the development of his strategy. He listened carefully to the details related to our role and was focused and understanding of all the issues involved in the services we provide. His effort enabled him to successfully explain this to the jury members, who in most cases knew very little about our profession. Scott’s level of service was excellent and I highly recommend him to anyone needing professional legal counsel.

I'm an architect and have been working with Scott for some time now on a complicated claim related to a conflict with a contractor on a large project. The proceedings have been a revelation to me, as they would have been irrespective of the attorney working on my side, but Scott quickly became a partner in the process, taking the extra time to try to make complex legal issues clear to me an my office. He is working always (and successfully) toward a positive outcome. He is open to any alternative positions I might want to take, and has always reviewed his strategies with us before enacting them. We have started using Scott on other claim and contract issues beyond the original claim.

Scott Lyford is a fantastic attorney who has honed his skills so that he effectively and efficiently provides strong legal advice and representation. His practice is somewhat unique in that he provides a unique combination of exemplary attorney as well as counselor. Scott's knowledge of the law and his ability to create effective strategy makes him one of my go-to lawyers.
