My son was in pre-trial diversion for a theft case, and had completed all his requirements. When he was just about to have his first case dismissed, he was arrested for possession of marijuana, which was less that .1 grams. The attorney we had at the time was telling us that the best deal we could ...get was for him to ask for the marijuana case to be dismissed as part of a deal, and deferred adjudication for the theft case. Then I received Carolyn's flyer in the mail after my son's second arrest. When I consulted with her, Carolyn said that deal our first attorney was going after wasn't good enough, and so my son and I decided to hire her. She would not back down, and she got both cases dismissed. I could not be more happy with the outcome. The only thing I could say that might be a little negative is that is you are the parent of a very young adult who wants to be a helicopter parent, her strategy advises against that. I was told that it was better for my son if I didn't attend his court dates, and to not appear to be an enabler. I was a little uncomfortable with that at first, but in the end it worked, so I could not be more happy. As a parent, she kept me in the loop as much as she could, consulting with my son to get his permission to share any information. This lady was well worth hiring and paying another attorney fee after we had hired another attorney previously.

Mrs. Wentland is a fighter for righteous, she went against a large Law firm and six coporate lawyers to prove that i didn't do what they had said, she fought, fought and never gave up because she is very knowledgeable and determine, did an enormous amount of research and eventually proved my innocenc...e. she also made it into the books of law and her name is now in the law books that other lawyers can learn from

She knows her stuff, I would recommend her for any criminal defense cases, My case was long and drawn out, she was reassuring and confident during the whole ordeal. In my Animal cruelty case the state prosecutors pushed & pushed they wanted to impose the m...aximum punishment, she pushed back, to make a long story short, We Won - The case was dismissed. A pair of her clients were in court the same day with me and she has gotten a dismissal, on one case in addition to mine and was working on the third. She will fight & defend you to the best of her ability, and during a emotionally charged and chaotic situation like criminal proceedings, She is definitely someone you want in your corner.
