Kurt Scott Hopke

I was very overwhelmed after going through a few years of back-and-forth with the court and with warriors who really didn’t have my best interest then Kurt came into my life. I could really write so much but bottomline if you want someone who does good lawering this is the guy. He is a lawyer who kno...ws how to lawyer. What that means is everything you don't understand he does and he's got it handled. He will keep you posted on important dates and make sure to stay on top of your case. after years of back-and-forth and Kurt became my lawyer and handled everything in less than nine months and during Covid. he got my DUI dismissed. it was such a black cloud over my life I am so glad it’s finally over. it’s such a overwhelming and stressful process and a huge chunk of it depends on who is your lawyer so pick a good one and choose this guy. He's awesome. I still can’t believe it's dismissed. Thanks so much KURT.

I was lucky and blessed to receive mr. Hopke as my court appointed attorney and I couldn't be any happier. Being i was not from the area and from another city not only did he show interest in my case for the area which is right outside of Houston in Katy but also showed interest and asking how I was... doing when it came to other cases I was facing in my own City of San Antonio telling me what ways and tactics I should look into when it came to being represented in my cases so that I can get them either dismissed or to somehow get a happy result. He always seemed to have my best interest at hand. He always answered my calls returned my messages and never had me questioning if he had my back. I am someone who has had a lot of problems with the law and have had my share of lawyers and from my experience most lawyers should be called Liars but in this case was totally different and would highly recommend anybody who is looking for a great lawyer who will have your back to the fullest to get a hold of Kurt Hopke. The end result of my case was dismissed and again I couldn't be more thankful .

Overall, he did a great job. He was state appointed, but honestly did the job of a well paid attorney. I do have one minor issue though. He just didn't communicate enough with me, with regards to the progression of the case. Maybe i was an exception to his normal. That said, going back to the fir...st thing i said, he did a wonderful job with my case. It was honestly a case that shouldn't have been a case, with some bs charges that made me temporarily question the whole "until proven guilty". Ended up being dismissed, after many resets. Like a bajillion resets. To no fault of Mr Hopke, though.

Mr. Hopke represented me from the week I was arrested in September 2017 until January of 2020. Over the course of nearly two-and-a-half years, Mr. Hopke never lost interest in my case, and never gave me the impression that he wasn't giving it his all. Mr. Hopke was concise in his calls to me, breakin...g down what tactics he would apply to my case as well as updating me with behind the scene developments, all in language so simple that a caveman could understand it. Most importantly, Mr. Hopke was patient; with both my case and with me. He was very transparent with payments and allowed me to pay my debt to him in a way that was manageable. Mr. Hopke's attention to detail is unmatched, something I realized when I sat in my pre-trial hearing. When discussing the outcome of cases with my friends who have faced similar circumstances, I felt happy that I chose Kurt, I had one of the best stories to tell when it came down to the outcome. He worked incredibly hard and the outcome of my case reflected it.
