also known as Wendy Wood Hencerling
I am an experienced Texas family law attorney. By "experienced," I mean that not only have I helped hundreds of clients achieve their objectives on issues ranging from custody, visitation, complex marital property division and issues regarding clients' pets, but experienced as well with the personal challenges, confusion and resentments that can cloud anyone's judgment in a divorce case.
I went through divorce myself when I was a young mother (and not yet a lawyer), and learned a great deal about the right and wrong ways to represent a client. I'll never forget the time my own very prominent and expensive attorney showed up to court without knowing whether my child was a boy or a girl. That just won't happen at the Law Office of Wendy Wood.
Since then, I completed law school with a then young son. I have been fortunate to practice family law in many areas - from Harris County to Dallas County, Tarrant County to Collin County and now at home in Brazos County and surrounding areas. I have happily remarried. I am also proud to say my son has learned from the trials of my family law experiences. He is now a graduate of Texas A&M University and wants to be a lawyer himself.
Please feel free to call my office or to send me an email () to discuss your particular family law issues. I will do my best to give your matter the attention to detail that you deserve.

"I have had the opportunity to work with Wendy on a number of occassions, including two hotly contested jury trials. Every time Wendy steps into the courtroom or into a mediation, she is absolutely prepared. She knows the law and how to present her client's position in a straightforward, no-nonsense manner that gets to the heart of the matter in controversy. I highly recommend Wendy Wood."

"I whole heartedly endorse this lawyer. Wendy and I worked together on a jurisdictional fight between Texas and Wisconsin (we both worked for the same client, but she in Texas, I in Wisconsin). She was professional, extremely competent, and handled the matter as a true expert. Should you need an attorney to handle a family law matter, you would be hard pressed to find a better attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. She was both thoughtful, courteous and professional and demonstrated a thorough understanding of the law and the needs of her client. She is an asset to the profession."
"I worked with Wendy on a contested family law case a few months ago, and while she was a strong advocate for her client, she was also very down-to-earth and professional. My experience with her was very positive, and I do endorse her work."
