Biography
I’ve been a licensed attorney for more than 16 years, proudly serving clients in Beaumont, Texas, and the surrounding Southeast Texas region. My practice focuses on criminal defense, including DUI and DWI cases, as well as expungement and record sealing. I understand how overwhelming it can be to face the criminal justice system, and I’m committed to standing beside my clients every step of the way—protecting their rights, fighting for their freedom, and working toward the best possible outcome.
My path to criminal defense began at Lamar University, where I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2003. I went on to earn my law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2007 and have dedicated my career to criminal defense ever since. I’ve represented thousands of individuals charged with everything from misdemeanors to serious felonies, and I know how much is at stake for every person who walks through my door.
One of the most important milestones in my career was becoming Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. This certification represents more than just experience—it reflects a commitment to excellence, advanced knowledge in criminal law, and a track record of professionalism and ethical standards. Fewer than 10% of attorneys in Texas hold this certification, and I’m proud to be among them.
I take a hands-on, client-focused approach to every case. I make it a priority to listen, to communicate clearly, and to ensure my clients always know where their case stands. Whether someone is facing a first-time DWI or looking to clear a past mistake from their record, I believe they deserve honest guidance, strong advocacy, and respectful representation.
