William A. Brown Jr.

William Brown is a native of Texas, raised in the Houston area. As the sone of an attorney he was raised with a strong influence entrenched in business and legal matters. His father would take him to the law office on Saturdays where he would play in the library and tinker with the legal technolgy while dad worked. The majority of his education and training has been in law, as well as the development of his business and professional skills, all of which took place in the Texas Gulf Coast region. He has a broad and diverse base of skills that allows him to relate to his clients and facilitate relationships with the business and legal communities in ways that helps resolve problems in the best interest of all.  Mr. Brown brings a local Texas flavor to his style and personalized techniques. Southern hospitality with a firm sense of fair play and substantial justice personifies his approach to law and business. His no-nonsense common sense, are the first things that most clients notice.

Mr. Brown worked his way though school as a videographer producing video depositions, accident recrecations, day-in-the-life reordings, edited courtroom playbacks, video settlement brochures. His skills in case preparation usually include demonstrative evidence such as charts, graphs, photographs, audio recordings and/or any other exhibit that captures the attention of juries, judges, arbitrators, mediators, opposing counsel or whomever he can influence to help achieve the objectives of his clients.

Attorney Brown is skilled at spotting opportunities to benefit his clients. He has created many family trusts, corporations, partnerships, LLC and other entities to facilitate business and estate planning objectives for family wealth planning, financial management, tax planning, retirement planning, liability protection, etc.

Restoration and exhibition of antique wooden boats is one of his hobbies. He likes to rool up his sleeves to craft repairs and reconstruction of vintage Chris Craft boats and other wood working projects. For sports he likes to play tennis and other racket sports where he can finesse his opponets with quick footwork and sharp cross court shots.

Managed/developed a Global WAN (wide area network) contract between Halliburton and IBM during the transition of Brown & Root/Halliburton/KBR. Includeing negotiation & implementation of contracts to build and maintain worldwide circuits reaching all corners of the world and the global help desk for technical support of all IT (information technology) users on the private network. Halliburton’s WAN included “Last Mile” contracts with local telephone service providers in every country where Halliburton conducted operations. He served on Y2K task force to validate compliance with technology protocols during transition into the new millennium. Procurement of professional services and materials “Big Deals Team” for commercial transactions exceeding $250k.
