Poor Amicus

I hired this attorney as an Amicus for my special needs son. I do not recommend her. I was disappointed in her ethics. She did not advocate for my son at all. She approached the case with preconceived expectations from a prior case that was not at all our situation, but she would repeatedly refer... back to it projecting it onto our case. She counseled the opposing party on any violations of the custody agreement rather than documenting, analyzing, and discerning the truth of the situation. This resulted in three mediations, outrageous attorney fees, and no result all while funds of thousands of dollars in attorney fees mounted. After hiring a new attorney, all was finally made well for my son.

Is it possible to leave a Negative 5

If you are looking for a lawyer in a family matter, press NEXT. During the initial consultation she told us what we wanted to hear. I asked to meet with her regarding these issues to try and clear up a possible miscommunication and she was unavailable. I had to beg for a bill, she did finally; 6 m...onths later, apologize for not providing a bill and stated her office staff was behind and not able to keep up with the billing. I eventually had to find another lawyer because I did not feel she was ethical.

best attorney I've hired

had 3 previous attorney, NONE did 1/4 of what she got accomplished within a week, always kept me informed and in the loop. if i couldn't get a old of her her secretary ROcio would make sure to follow up with me. I highly recommend her.

HIRE SOMEONE ELSE, RUN......

Appeared to be trustworthy at first, but proved to be the contrary. Attorney herself would communicate that she would handle a situation on a particular day, but would provide no feedback. Always hard to reach and frustrating to act. It is like her head is buried in the sand and she is oblivious... to the truth. Handled my matter on a reactive basis and not on a proactive basis. Very knowlegeable attorney that if she talked the talk and walked the walk would be great.

Cindy Aguirre as a Public Defender does not disappoint!

Should you have Cindy Aguirre appointed to you as a public defender you will find that she lives up to the title completely. She took the role in the most expected fashion, I expected a Public Defender to avoid any type of legal defense and go right for plea bargains, no contests etc and she did just... that. I have no idea how she operates in her private practice but she should avoid Public Service. She seemed to forget that the title implies DEFENDER! I was literally shocked at her lack of attention and avoidance of any evidence that could help the case since she would have to apply herself. I am sure when she gets paid she tries to win her cases but this age old attitude that the Public Defender role is a paycheck and nothing more is a sad commentary on a already tainted legal arena in Harris County Texas. I suggest that all attorneys, if you don’t want to live up to your oath then PLEASE do not damage the indigent public masses by not trying to help the innocent fight for their freedoms and rights. I rate her low for just plain not trying or being interested in my case.
