Destroyed my life
Because of his inadequate preparation, investigation, & dedication his total complacency shines quite remarkably in my decree. A little background my ex and I are both 39 years old, prior military, air traffic controllers, made about $250,000 a year. both disabled veterans both educated both human....
Thank you for taking the time to post your thoughts. When we first spoke on April 18, 2019, you told me that for the prior year and a half, you were living in Idaho while your husband and 2 children were living in Texas. In that time, you had only seen your children once because your husband thought you were a danger due to your alcohol abuse. You informed me that you are indeed an alcoholic and have twice been arrested for felony DUI. One instance resulted in injuries to others and the other instance your children were in the car. You served significant jail time because of this. You have been in recovery for 4 years with multiple relapses, you attended various inpatient alcohol treatment programs, you were on criminal bond being investigated (and potentially revoked) because you hit someone with your car at a Wal Mart and fled the scene of an accident. On top of all that, your husband found drugs in your jacket pocket and was making plans to move the children to Washington, DC, seriously affecting your ability to have any meaningful relationship with your children. To say we had a great deal of work to do is an understatement. Yours is the perfect example of a very difficult case other lawyers would avoid. I specialize in the most challenging of cases involving drugs and alcohol and during our initial meeting, I outlined a plan of reunification with your children. I indicated it would not be easy, but if you were committed and followed the procedures I recommended, we would have the highest chance of success at trial. Much to your credit, you followed the plan and 3 months after we first spoke, we attended mediation where you secured an agreement for unsupervised possession of the children - seeing them nearly 50% of the time. Additionally, your husband could not move the children to Washington, DC, you paid less than guideline child support, received 50% of all property, etc. This is all part of the public record in cause number 18-10-13717, and your agreement avoided a costly custody trial. I am sorry to learn of your current issues but I am proud of the efforts by my firm to meet your initial expectations and secure a reunification with your children.

Do Not Hire
We hired this "lawyer" for a child custody case. His performance, in court, was extremely poor. He did not bring out much, of any, the evidence we had supplied him with. After the bench trial, he would no longer return phone calls, e-mails, etc. Very unprepared at trial and did not ask meaningful que...
