Because of his inadequate preparation, investigation, & dedication his total complacency shines quite remarkably in my decree. A little background my ex and I are both 39 years old, prior military, air traffic controllers, made about $250,000 a year. both disabled veterans both educated both human.... we wanted a family so I gave up my career to raise our children while he gave up family and raised his career. we both made that decision. we moved all around the country chasing promotions to better "our" future. i'm just going to put it out there since brian already has but 5 years ago i Received DUI while my kids were in the car. i know how this does paint me as the bad parent however thati am not! i do not now nor have i ever taken it lightly & ultimately I'm hoping the only reason or excuse that Brian was so prejudice, oblivious and complacent in my case. The intricacies of my ex husband's manipulation are to crazy to get into but this was second time, after moving to texas mid 1st divorce he Realized what a financial train wreck of a move it was for him to file while selling our duplex for a nice profit. he said "let's stay married" i being a lame said "ok love" we bought a brand new home here got tons of new stuff yet i was stuck in idaho due to DUI, Brian suggested I move back here as fast as possible so the day that I could leave I did, yet only to be locked out, lied about to the kids, w/no money i was forced to live in hotels, my ex was breaking every standing order known to man plus allowing the children to be supervised and cared for by a lovely and sweet 20 yr old pot smoker, instead of me. brianstarts with A very high energetic extremely fast-paced optimistic consultation, Once you retain him do not expect to talk to him again until the day before mediation & unless you've spoken with his paralegal you probably have no idea what it is or what happens and that's because his overly blasé approach to it & how easy it is. at no time does he hold true to anything he said he will make sure goes into the decree or we go before the judge. I had video proof of the nanny talking to him about her drug use, All I wanted in the decree was drug testing so I knew my kids were safe when they were not with me. instead of brian putting in effort having things done right the first time he glorifies modification in mediation DONT BELIEVE IT, after the first long day of mediation they have me sign a piece of paper that we did mediation that day, We came back a 2nd day and I still didn't get any of my issues addressed yet he had me sign again I was more skeptical this time because I didn't understand what the heck was going on but was told we were coming back again for personal property and we would discuss it then. Brian's words were"unless you're ready to get $18,000 right now to chance trail i need to sign so we can all go home" Later that day I learned from my ex that that was the final thing and it was done I tried calling Brian, no word until court. i'm non-primary joint conservator who's paying $14,000 to X for tx house to live in with our kids who i should have. & I live in an apartment that I can no longer afford because the savings was the only money brian insured me & it's gone, I have no job, I pay $500mo in child sup. healthcare and monthly cost of our rental house in Alaska, I do not get to claim a kid, I do not get them for a bracket of time in the summer, i got 1/2 savings and ret. I had to pay back car insurance he got 7 bank accounts hid more & I received half of one. no property was ever done so my entire life theX refuses to let me have finds it hilarious Brian was a coward in court and let this all go through i told the judge i disagreed &he got mad, instead of getting it corrected. Take a look Brian, you said it would be just fine... he makes $250,000 keeps it all, kids & i homeless!...the kids are sad &confused, i can't find that job, i can't see kids ever, we're RUINED! you?? We hired this "lawyer" for a child custody case. His performance, in court, was extremely poor. He did not bring out much, of any, the evidence we had supplied him with. After the bench trial, he would no longer return phone calls, e-mails, etc. Very unprepared at trial and did not ask meaningful que...stions of witnesses. DO NOt HIRE! Money earmarked for certain paperwork was used by him for something else.

This is a GREAT attorney. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He makes you feel more like a person than a client and takes his time to explain everything. The other party in this case tried to change Jurisdiction of our child. Bryan went above and beyond what i had expected and i am very happy w...ith the outcome
