After attending both undergraduate and law school at the University of Texas, Corey Young began his legal career as an appellate prosecutor in Montgomery County, Texas. Corey handled numerous direct appeals, both felony and misdemeanor, as well as responded to writs of habeas corpus. Throughout his time as a prosecutor, Corey maintained an affirmance rate of over 97%.
After nearly seven years in public service as a prosecutor, Corey decided to join former co-workers Patty Maginnis and Tracy Pullan in private practice at the beginning of 2011. Corey maintains his practice in criminal appellate law and continues to represent clients in post-conviction matters.
