I would say that an experienced lawyer could handle the hype. The lawyer took a case for a little money and then finished pro bono. It is better to have a lawyer than no lawyer at all. This particular lawyer had it all right in her sweaty little palms and could have opened an investigation and lawsui...t for CPS caseworkers and lawyer lying to the judge under sworn oath, manipulation of documentation and evidence along with multiple federal and state law violations and basically could have taken CPS and the State of Texas to the bank. It would have set a new bar as to what CPS could and could not do to innocent families being victimized by a government agency. Sometimes lawyers are not willing to see things through when all the evidence is in hand. I was not satisfied at all and never will be satisfied with the outcome and the way my case was handled. It took her way to long to resolve the case. Money is rated first, If you are poor you may step to the back of the line with this lawyer.

I used Katherine to finish a divorce that had gone on way too long. Within 3 months my divorce was finalized (while another attorney "tried" negotiating it for 16 months). I was always kept informed. Court dates were kept and never rescheduled. Her staff is very professional and prompt with filin...g motions, etc. She is a no-nonsense attorney that is interested in settling cases, not taking your money.
