I just received a letter this week from USCIS that I am going to get my green card very soon ! It is the result of the 2.5 months of hard work that Kathryn & her great team helped me to solve my application trouble after I failed the green card interview. It’s my pleasure to write a review for Kat...hryn, a great lawyer whom you will never regret to ask her to deal with your immigration issues. I am highly impressed by her foreign language skills such as almost native in Chinese while she did not grow up in China nor she is a Chinese, her professionalism, eloquently wrote letters to be sent to the government, down to earth attitude, super quick response to emails & calls, attention to great details, genuine care & understanding for people, detail minded, very organized so she can handle a lot of clients in a very effective manner and her strong memory towards immigration laws & remember great details on your case. I need to give special thanks to Nadine, a young, smart and compassionate kind hearted lawyer for her devotion & great care towards my case. Thanks God, back in Dec 2014, I told my husband we should not rely on our previous lawyer anymore as he proved himself to be an dishonest person. From avvo.com, I noticed there is a female lawyer called Kathryn who has lots of good reviews seems to be a compassionate person. Hoping she could understand the reasons why filing extreme hardship right away is not what I want, as I did not think myself should be guilty for committing any misrepresentation only by an unintentional error. During the consultation, Kathryn proves herself to be a very patient and attentive person who is going to treat my case seriously. My husband and I chatted with her for around 2 hours on SUNDAY as she needed to work overtime for one of her clients on what seemed to be a difficult case. Yes, I got lucky to be able to consult her on Sunday which she rarely meets clients on Sunday. From Dec, 2014 to late Feb, 2015, Kathryn replied all my emails promptly, there are many times she even replied my emails after 10 pm and some were even after 11 pm. I was shocked to see how KEEN she has been for her clients. I told my husband she is a very dedicated person, she is not doing a so so job for people, she wants things to be done perfectly. During the 2.5 months working with her, I felt I was finally in safe hands who also has a wonderful team of law professionals to handle my case when she was out of office. Her team is also as responsive as her, they are professional, polite and understanding. Last but not least, if you are a Chinese who speaks native Mandarin, you will definitely be impressed by how native Kathryn’s Chinese is. She is not a Chinese, she learnt Chinese in China for only very few years, I have no idea why her Chinese can be so native with good local accent ! If you are struggling with your immigration problems, please do not waste any time on any seemed to be professional but ‘heartless’ lawyer, if you feel they do not really care about your case, trust your gut feeling and switch to Kathryn as soon as possible. If I could turn back the clock to know Kathryn before I ran into any trouble on my immigration issue, I would have saved a lot of worries, a lot of money wasted on all unused but paid non refundable international air tickets. Hope you can solve your immigration problem as promptly as mine !

Kathryn Karam and her team assisted me in my naturalization application. My case was not straight forward but Kathryn was very good at clearly outlining a strategy.
