Professional Indian Couple Divorce

My ex was like how Trump is. An IIT engineer and IT PM, but with three spirits on the inside (I know - each spirit is like a nuclear reactor), and I am a physician. Dealing with him was most difficult because he was absolutely a spiritual mess on the inside (much more than average). Took me 21 years ...to figure out what was wrong on the inside of him (because for the first 21 years I thought it was something wrong with me). But I knew 13 years ago that I would not die married to him; something that was way abnormal that I knew by the wedding night that something was very not alright on the inside of him. Then another 9 years to find the right lawyer after going to many different lawyers before hiring Attorney Behrmann. The first thing he said to me was that "Divorce is horrible. I promise to hold your hand and to take you to the other side and give you a completed divorce." He was the only lawyer that made me that promise and I cannot even believe that it is over now. It took him a few months to get it done, but he was strongly on my side, once he grew to trust me fully, despite there being cultural differences between us, which some others could just not get over (and he did not have time to understand fully my ex's inner spiritual issues mostly because he had not heard anything like this before, perhaps for the best, because instead he used the time to explain to me the law). In the end, I will never forget his kindness in giving me his arm for me to hold onto as I exited the mediator's office, and his negotiating that my son get the house that my parents and I had paid 5/6th for, which he had thrown me out of, in addition to cutting me off financially completely and taking my child from me, after forcing me out of my career, and my profession, and using me like a nanny, but once he was older, throwing me out, and preventing my son from bonding with me (throwing my food out and my mother's cooking out even when we lived together and so much worse). His malignant narcissistic sociopathy nearly cost me my life a few times, and it is a miracle I am still alive today. Attorney Behrmann is the one to thank for the divorce. The others were just mean, money-minded or frankly uncaring or dishonest and could not be pinned-down or did not care to listen to me fully. God Is Great and I feel lucky to be free of my ex and to have had a manly man (a former marine - the only kind of person - and my father) of whom my ex was frightened. Shudder thinking of how he tortured my entire family and me for decades, and emotionally set me on fire so many times, and his unrelenting hatred, jealousy and misogyny from day one. But for Attorney Behrmann I would not have gotten out alive. His scorched earth motions with the judges were shocking and hatred-filled, and full of lies about my family and me (he even wrote to employees of my father to tell them lies about us). To his eternal credit, Attorney Behrmann chose to believe me. Thank God for Attorney Behrmann. I can only thank God for having survived such an evil human being. He still keeps my son. Praying to be able to get him out before he gets sick.

Incredible attorney

My divorce was a very difficult time and I was grateful that I was represented by Lawrence Behrmann. He prepared me for every step of the process and made sure he knew what my goals were and what was most important to me. He knew when to counsel and when to listen, and provided timely advice on a p...ersonal level in a manner above and beyond what he was paid to do. He was very available and there were many problems that I encountered after office hours that he was able to counsel me through in a timely manner. He was very judicious in the use of his time, and saved me a lot of money by knowing what was important to do and what things did not need to be researched more. He was able to finalize a very contentious divorce by requesting the right information at the right time, and that information allowed me to have more time with the children. I have referred another friend to him and he had an experience similar to mine. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a strong, compassionate and caring attorney.

Excellent Lawyer

Mr. Behrmann agreed to meet with myself and the owner of the company regarding the termination of an employee who had been with us for over twenty years. This was a very stressful ordeal as the employee had been with the company for so long and there were so many problems that we did not know where... to begin. When I phoned Mr. Behrmann and briefly explained the situation he agreed to meet with us immediately to discuss the situation. Upon arrival at Mr. Behrmann's office he immediately came out to greet us and started asking questions as to what had happened and the circumstances that lead up to the decision to let this person go. He could see how distraught the owner was about having to terminate someone who had been with the company for so long. He was very compassionate and understanding and guided us as to what needed to be done. He was very patient with us and explained in detail everything that needed to happen and why it needed to be done. It felt like an impossible situation to work out when we arrived at Mr. Behrmann's office. However, by the time our meeting was over he had brought so much clarity to us and instilled so much confidence that he would take care of everything, we left his office with hope for the first time in years that this situation was going to finally end. Mr. Behrmann did exactly what he said he would do and in less time than we thought it would take. He was quick and efficient and I can't thank him enough for helping us. With that being said, his compassion was what helped us make the difficult decisions and without his help I don't know how we would have handled it. Sincerely,

PHENOMENAL Trial Attorney

Lawrence Behrmann is an extraordinary trial attorney and a warm, compassionate, and fair human being. I, better than anyone else who has reviewed him in this forum, would know - he's been my attorney for almost 20 years and has represented me brilliantly on an ongoing basis over this period. His ...knowledge of trial law - specifically of its nuanced application within the courtroom - elevates him above other attorneys. He has taken on some of the biggest family law practices in Texas on my behalf and won convincingly, often confounding the opposition by demanding of it the same precision of case presentation that he demonstrates. He wins an immediate respect from judges because, at trial, it becomes evident very quickly that he knows the law at least as well as they do - this is very UNCOMMON in a trial attorney. Lawrence could practice for a much larger firm and also could practice within many other areas of the law...and be enormously successful. However, he intentionally keeps his firm small in order to provide the quality of representation that he believes each client deserves. When I discover that a friend has encountered legal problems, I immediately think of sending him or her to Lawrence. Whenever I have done this, their experience has always been a good one. Lawrence has even won, recently, a federal case in which a friend of mine was involved. I am a middle-aged businessman who has witnessed many trials and seen many courtrooms. I have yet to witness an attorney provide the same type of exceptional courtroom representation for a client as that provided me by Mr. Behrmann. He really did fight for me as though he were fighting for himself...what more could a person ask for?
