I had a very upsetting experience with the Law Firm of Timothy Hart when Raphael was the lawyer assigned to me, and would not recommend him. I was involved in an immigration case that dragged on for several years. The office was very difficult to communicate with, and I felt like they were not very... competent. That is not necessarily Raphael's fault, but at one point I had a frustrating experience with him. I had a pre-hearing to set a date for my hearing, and was told by the firm to show up at 8am and Raphael would meet me there. He showed up 2-and-a-half hours late at 10:30am, I had called the firm several times asking where he was, and they assured me every time they gave him the message and he was "on his way". When he arrived, he had never gotten any messages. I realize that wasn't his fault. But it made the rest of the morning frustrating. He did not seem to know the details of my case, so I was a bit worried that he was unprepared. He seemed a bit nervous, and when the judge asked a routine question about my country of citizenship, he bobbled it. The experience made me feel like my case wasn't being taken seriously, and I wasn't confident. Mostly I had a negative experience with his firm rather than him, but my one courtroom appearance with Rafael was pretty upsetting.
