I hate writing these types of reviews for black women but it is necessary because I’ve never encountered this type of treatment from a law office. At my most vulnerable time of going through a divorce, I was met with condescending rapport, errors in official documentation, and argumentative behavior.... Beware!

Do Not Recommend – Extremely Unprofessional and Incompetent I waited before writing this review to fully process the poor experience I had with Attorney Dorsey and her firm. I hired her to handle my divorce, believing she was the right person to help me through a very difficult time. Unfortunately, ...I was wrong. She initially came across as professional and compassionate, but that quickly changed. Her work was sloppy and disorganized, with multiple errors in her legal filings. I dismissed the early mistakes as minor—but that was a mistake on my part. She arrived late to a virtual court proceeding without giving me any notice. In another hearing, she entered the wrong virtual courtroom entirely and never offered an explanation or apology. Her fees kept changing without warning or clear breakdowns. Most concerning, she had no clear legal strategy and seemed completely lost on how to handle my case. I spent thousands of dollars before finally terminating her services due to her gross incompetence. Please don’t be fooled by your initial impression—my experience was frustrating, disappointing, and costly. I would not recommend Attorney Dorsey to anyone going through a divorce or any legal matter that requires true professionalism and expertise.

Ms. Dorsey was unbelievable compassionate and helpful, she provided with me great advice and guidance. She took time and listened to me and very carefully assessed my matter, and gave me step by step guidance for everything I would need to do and what was likely coming my way. This is a person who ge...nuinely wants to help people and I cannot say enough good things about her.

She was very helpful when it was time to take my money. After that getting her on the phone was impossible. When I did speak with her she was always short and had an attitude. The paperwork she typed up was incorrect and she got an attitude with me for informing her. She didn’t even contact me to let... me know my divorce was finalized. I looked it up online and contacted her. She got defensive and told me she done her job and don’t contact her anymore.
