I was born in Michigan but moved to Florida as a child.
I attended the University of Florida where I was fortunate enough to meet my wife, Mari. We moved to Houston in the mid 1990's and have loved the city ever since.
When I am not helping clients, I am usually spending time with my family. We all love playing tennis with our friends at Copperfield Racquet and Tennis Club.

Bret Bosker was able to guide us thru a difficult custody case that involved a mentally ill ex. He taught me how to respond or not respond in order to make it better for all involved. He deeply cares about the children involved and he will lead you with integrity.

The mental illness had generated a host of circumstances that even baffled the judge, but he was able to...

I had a very nasty divorce involving a bi-polar wife who claimed her lawyer had told her she could take all my kids if she accused me of sexual abuse; four biological children; four children adopted from Kazakhstan including two special-needs children; and a foster child taken in after another couple...

"I have referred several clients to Bret over the years. They have always been happy. He is a great lawyer. If a family member ever needed a family law attorney, I would send them to Bret."
"I endorse this lawyer. For 2012, he is serving as Immediate Past Chair of the Houston Bar Association's Family Law Section. Being selected as a chair of a section of the HBA reflects the respect he has achieved from his fellow attorneys in the Houston area. He behaves in an ethical and professional matter when interacting with his opposing counsel."
"I endorse this lawyer. He has commitment to his clients, to the profession, and to the larger community in which he practices. He is a skilled and dedicated lawyer and an assert to his clients and the legal community."
