Uma Bansal is dedicated to helping her clients’ businesses thrive. With offices in both Houston and Chicago, Uma serves as an advocate for corporations, small businesses, and healthcare companies. Throughout her career, Uma has helped numerous clients handle their business and legal needs, including hospitals, freestanding emergency rooms, private medical practices, and other corporate startups.
By establishing The Oracle Legal Group, Uma created a practice that allowed her to offer a comprehensive range of legal services to her clients. Uma handles corporate work for her clients ranging from helping startups form their business entities to advising clients on complex contracts, employment agreements, acquisitions and mergers. Uma also provides outside in-house counsel to a growing healthcare company and offers assistance and guidance on a wide variety of corporate and legal issues.
Before opening her own firm, Uma worked for prestigious firms including DLA Piper, Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, and Freeborn & Peters on business and intellectual property matters. In these positions, Uma established licensing contracts, negotiated technology agreements, and helped clients secure important patents.
