Matthew James Deluca

This is my first experience with the court system, and I was afraid. My angst would rise with every step of the process, but would calm through understanding of the sequence of events. Matt is thorough and patient. He took the time to not only go through the details, but also explain them. I chose t...o make payments at his office as opposed to online, and while I was there he would review the case with me, regardless if changes had been made. I had been warned by family and friends of the repercussions to come, so I was delighted when Matt managed most, if not all, of my concerns. My concerns of payment, my license, convictions, jail time. Even before being hired, he offered advise on what to look for and how to go about it. Matt was even so kind as to advise me on an unrelated family concern, given my lack of knowledge of the system. The amount of comfort I’ve felt through this process is a surprise to others I’ve talked to. My case is now well on its way to being dismissed. I would first off like to thank Matt for the great work he has done to help throughout my DWI case. My case started in August of 2016 when I was pulled over by an officer on the way from a bar. Minutes away from my rental unit, I was asked to get out of the car, given numerous sobriety test and then ...had my rights read to me. This was my first time having any infraction with the law, and I was also visiting Houston. Everything was very much new to me, I was nervous and afraid of what was to come. Upon being released from the Harris County Jail I began shopping around for a DWI lawyer that would be able to help me fight my case and ultimately have it dismissed. I came across Matthew Deluca and had a consultation with him and decided to hear what other lawyers had to say before making a decision. I happened to also have a consultation with Tyler Flood (WAY TOO EXPENSIVE) who claims to be one of the BEST DWI Lawyers in Harris County. He disclosed that Matthew Deluca worked for him in the past. That is when I knew that Matthew Deluca would be the best one to handle my case. He: 1.Trained under someone who proclaims to be the best DWI lawyer in the county 2.Was reasonably priced compared to other lawyers 3.Solely owns and runs a smaller firm to ensure he personally focuses on each case Matt saved my license from being revoked and my case was ultimately DISMISSED by November 2016. Given that I was out of state Matt was able to get all of my appearances waived. I must say that working with Matthew Deluca had been my extreme pleasure. He kept me up to date every step of the way and reached out to me periodically to simply check in how I was coping mentally. This was something that I know isn’t offered by every lawyer, but Matt honestly gave me peace of mind. He is passionate about what he does and I would recommend him to anyone dealing with a DWI case. He is an amazing lawyer and for anyone that is skeptical about using his services, I would undoubtedly say he is the reason why I have been able to put this situation behind me and deserves to be in the conversation as one of the best DWI lawyers in Harris County.
