Faran Foy Whitaker

Faran Whitaker is an attorney and practices in the areas of immigration and nationality law. Faran has extensive experience representing families, foreign nationals, and U.S. corporations before various government agencies and courts. Faran also assists employers with developing and implementing immigration policies to ensure state and federal compliance and efficient immigration practices. Previously, she worked as a federal judicial clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. She graduated from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law summa cum laude in 2014. During law school she also studied immigration law at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. Prior to moving to Houston, Faran graduated from The Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Editing, Writing & Media. She enjoys mentoring young women in their professional, educational, and spiritual pursuits. She loves to read, dance, shop and brag about FSU athletics.
