One of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had as a paying customer. I’m not sure why my experience was so different than other reviewers. Communication was pulling teeth from start to finish. My emails, texts and calls took multiple reminders to get a response. I don’t expect a response in hour...s or even a couple days, but even a “we’ll get back to you in X time” would have been appreciated. Weeks would go by with no updates. Everything was so unorganized. I had my appointed lawyer switched and I didn’t find out till I had to text the first guy a couple of times. I only spoke on the phone to my given lawyer once and never met anyone in person. Then his phone was disconnected with no notice. I did get what I needed in a boundary line agreement. However, there were some errors I had to correct, one being that a trustee had been deceased since 2006. The worst though, was that the lot number was wrong because it was copied and pasted from mine. I didn’t notice this until after it was submitted with the county clerk. I’ve been waiting on my retainer to be refunded for months ago. Tommy himself said he’d handle it today, but it’s been another let down. They won’t answer my calls or return my voicemails. I’ll be happy to update this if and when I get it. Nothing has been pleasant about this experience. My issue may be small in the grand scheme of things, but it was important to get done. A paying client, especially on a retainer, deserves to be treated more professionally. This ordeal has made an already stressful situation way more stressful. Look elsewhere.

Worked w Mr. Holmes on a handful of o&g deals and on top of being incredibly knowledgeable, he was deligent, responsive and transparent. His understanding of the intricacies in the oil patch was beyond helpful when structuring lease acquisitions. In addition, he treated each assignment like it was hi...s most important one - something not often found. I’d recommend him to anyone in need of a talented attorney.
