After exiting a year long Forbearance Plan ( due to Covid) my mortgage company refused to work with me on a repayment plan or a loan modification. Mike Baker the Finance Manager set up a payment plan that worked best for me and sent monthly statements that kept me up to date on the financial end. What can I say about my attorney Josh Gordon, other than he is brilliant and one of the best in his field. He is a fierce advocate and fighter for his clients and the banks and mortgage companies know this... when Josh speaks they listen! He got my loan modification AND a settlement ( which I wasn’t expecting)! The Lane Law Firm is a well oiled machine that does exactly what you need, someone to FIGHT for you! I called when I thought foreclosure was my only way out of a house that had its value fall 25% and property tax rates skyrocketing causing me to be completely upside down on the property. It wasn't selling on the market for anything close to what I paid for it 6yrs prior, and covid hit my finances ha...rd. I worked closely with Steven Schwinger at the Lane lawfirm, and he helped out tremendously, and ended up getting the bank to agree to a DIL (deed in lieu) contract. I was able to walk away without any liabilities attached to the property, and he made that happen in a reasonable time frame. Very professional, and a good communicator. Thanks for all the help.
