We first contacted The Lane Law Firm in 2019, regarding a clouded lien we had on our home due to unforeseen issues with a HELOC. We were greeted by Rafael Armestar and he listened to our entire story, took notes, and took the time to answer all of our questions. I called when I thought foreclosure was my only way out of a house that had its value fall 25% and property tax rates skyrocketing causing me to be completely upside down on the property. It wasn't selling on the market for anything close to what I paid for it 6yrs prior, and covid hit my finances ha...rd. I worked closely with Steven Schwinger at the Lane lawfirm, and he helped out tremendously, and ended up getting the bank to agree to a DIL (deed in lieu) contract.
