My husband was injured on the job about three years, ago which led to his leg being amputated at first, we thought we'd be able to handle workman's comp on our own. After the Abbot Firm was contacted to assist our Son with his workers compensation case, Mr. Bedoy was his counsel. From the first contact through the final resolution, Mr. Bedoy was always there. He responds promptly to emails, is a wealth of resources, and assists in getting the injured employee in... touch with professionals that will actually provide help for the injury, as well as provide accurate, and useful documentation in the legal process. Our son was being denied treatment, and treated very negatively by the "Claims Handlers" at Gallagher Bassett until the Abbot Firm was retained. Even after that they continued to attempt to deny, object, confuse and delay. Ultimately, upon final resolution, Mr. Bedoy was able to negotiate with the claims handlers and the company to ensure that our sons injuries were ALL accepted. Without their involvement and assistance I know that our son wouldn't have received temporary income benefits for very long much less impairment benefits once everything was settled. I cant stress enough how important it is to make sure that you keep documentation, know that you have the right to seek treatment by a doctor of your choosing, and sometimes you have to seek legal counsel in order to make sure that the company responsible for your injury treats you in the manner that they legally have to. With the assistance of Joseph Bedoy, our son was able to realize much more of a recovery, and acceptance of all of his injuries although the "Claims Handlers" for the company he worked for hired a very high powered law firm in Austin to fight even accepting parts of his claim. I couldn't give a higher recommendation to a very knowledgeable, good spirited Christian Lawyer.
