Macy Armstrong Cassin

I was appointed Macy as my attorney and she did everything in her power to help me keep my kids involved in my life but due to incarceration that was not feasible. Although she was attentive and very persistent with visits and submitting my accomplishments to the court, it wasn't good enough. Well un...fortunately I found out recently that I could have my kids now but since I signed a PMC (Permanent Managing Conservatorship) to a family friend, i can no longer get custody of my kids without taking it back to court. I do not have the money and want my kids safe and back in my custody. I was released a month before my final courtdate so I had no time to get a place and show stability. Not to mention I received my son for visitation and found bruises on his bottom so I took him to the emergency room and since i signed the PMC the lady still gets to choose where my children stay and CPS is allowing her to do services to get my children back in her home.. don't make the same mistake I did! FIGHT FOR YOUR KIDS AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU NO

Macy, was appointed to my case concerning child custody. Ms. Cassin, was rude and did not represent my child as she said she would. She appeared in court and did not give accurate details or information on my case. She allowed my child to be subjected to a unfit father. Given sufficient evidence to p...rove the other parent was unfit and that visitation was not in the best interest of the child. I would not recommend Ms. Cassin.

Ms Cassin was an appointed Amicas Attorney. She had not reviewed our particular half of the case files when I went to her office Friday before trial on Monday and made it clear that she had other cases to attend to over the weekend, From her billing statements, I knew that she had contacted the oth...er side 20 times more than she had contacted me. She misrepresented the facts which I can prove in emails and hearing transcripts, and drew conclusions in court that only expert in child psychology is qualified to do.

Wow - I used Macy in the last 6 months and she was the exact opposite of what the other review said. She made efforts to call, email, or text me. She worked really hard to help our case. When she realized she needed help, she asked for it and referred us to another lawyer more specialized in the f...ield we needed. I thought Macy was amazing.
