IRA CHENKIN Owner, Founder of Chenkin Law Firm Ira Chenkin was born in Brooklyn, New York in March 1952. After graduating cum laude from the University of Buffalo in 1973 and earning his law degree from South Texas School of Law in 1977, he placed in the top 15% on the bar exam. Ira quickly began a successful career as a criminal defense lawyer under the guidance of Jim Tatum. Five years later, he founded Chenkin Law Firm in 1983. Today, Ira Chenkin is highly regarded as a state and federal trial lawyer. A lawyer's lawyer!
I've known Ita Chenkin and have observed his practice of law since he first started in 1978. He is a natural born fighter, represents his clients zealously since he first started in 1978. He is a natural born fighter, represents his clients zealously and has a reputation around the courthouse for getting excellent results in his cases. I have both worked with him on cases and referred him cases over the years and I've always been proud of the work that he's done. He is truly a Lawyer's lawyer.

Great Attorney!
We have used Mr. Chenkin several times and always to our total satisfaction. He has received judgments for us that were more than reasonable. We would readily refer friends and family to him as the occasion merits.

Excellent choice of law firm

Respect
When I got into a car accident I called Ira Chenkin at Chenkin Law Firm. The accident wasn't my fault and I knew I needed a respected lawyer to negotiate with the insurance companies on my behalf. Mr Chenkin's staff was very patient with me and always available to answer all my questions. After a few months Mr Chenkin got me an amazing settlement that paid for all my medical expenses plus 160 thousand more for my pocket. I hope I never have to use Chenkin Law Firm again but if I do I won't hesitate to call Ira Chenkin to handle my case.

Mr.Dismissed
In 2008 i fired my lawyer and hired Ira Chenkin for my case. When i met and spoke with him for the first time, he was very straight forward with me about my situation. I was very comfortable hiring Ira Chenkin that day, in fact i was so comfortable that i stopped worrying about my case. It felt as if all the weight was lifted off my shoulders and now onto his. I hired him on a Monday with my next court appearance being that following Friday. I could not have made a smarter choice as we walked in and out of the court room with-in 15 minutes. My case was dismissed, other lawyers told me that i would have had to do probation and possibly serve time in jail. Since then I have recommended Ira Chenkin to friends and family members. There was not one case that he was not able to get dismissed from everyone that i referred to him. Hence the name Mr.Dismissed. To this day, if i ever need anything, i call Chenkin Law Firm and ask for Ira because if you want the best, you have to hire the best.

Trustworthy
Ira Chenkin of the Chenkin Law Firm has handled two cases for me. During this difficult time of mine Mr. Chenkin gave me peace of mind. He was always available to answer my questions in person or over the phone. If I have have to go through the legal system again I would not hesitate to call Mr. Chenkin again. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a hardworking honest lawyer that truly tries to get his clients the best possible deal.

IRA CHENKIN WAS THERE FOR ME
Without going into specifics, when a situation arose where I need legal representation I was referred to the law office of Mr. Ira Chenkin. Mr. Chenkin treated me with respect, dignity and worked very hard for me and my case. He took a personal interest in me and even thought it was a difficult situation resulting from where as the injured person I felt I was due compensation, without skillful and knowledgeable representation I realized I did not have a chance against the other party. I hope that I never have to use Mr. Chenkin again, I but I realize that if the situation ever presented itself again (and I pray that it does not) I would not hesitate to use his legal expertise again. I have in turn recommended him to two friends and they were treated in the same excellent manner that I was.
