IRA CHENKIN

Ira Chenkin was born in Brooklyn, New York in March 1952. After graduating cum laude from the University of Buffalo in 1973 and earning his law degree from South Texas School of Law in 1977, he placed in the top 15% on the bar exam.
Ira quickly began a successful career as a criminal defense lawyer under the guidance of Jim Tatum. Five years later, he founded Chenkin Law Firm in 1983. Today, Ira Chenkin is highly regarded as a state and federal trial lawyer.
