Appellate practice is a niche field, and appellate practitioners have too often been unavailable to the plaintiffs' bar and their clients who have need in the face of increasingly stacked odds from a hostile system and draconian laws that aim to take away the right to jury trial. As an appellate lawyer, I recognize that my most important responsibility is to help to protect that sacred right of simply ensuring my client has a day in court and can rely upon the verdict that a jury provides. Justice belongs to everyone; not just those who can afford it.
