Biography
Before joining the Ogg Law Firm, Scott served as a law clerk with McFall, Breitbeil & Smith. He joined the Ogg Law Firm in 2008 and entered into his association as Of Counsel to the Firm in 2009.
While attending South Texas College of Law, Scott founded the School of Rights of Kids (ROK) Program. The purpose of the Program was to teach high school students about various aspects of the law. Scott applied for and received a grant from the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation to assist with financial support for the ROK Program.
During his junior year at Southwestern University, Scott participated in an archeological program sponsored by Bilkent University located in Ankara, Turkey. While digging in Turkey, he met his future wife Derya, and they were married in 2008. They now enjoy traveling to Turkey at regular intervals.
Scott remains actively involved in the Iota Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Southwestern, one of the oldest continually active fraternities in the State of Texas (Est. 1886).
Scott received the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 642 at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church on August 15, 1995.
