The second attorney felt I had to divide one of my investment properties because we both had our names on the deed, however, I had to drop him after my wife had a consultation with him and thus refused to let me proceed. In my personal experience, I felt consistently overcharged and nickel-and-dimed throughout the process. Communication was also a significant issue — she was rarely available for phone calls, and res...ponses to important questions often took much longer than expected. When your family and future are on the line, you need an attorney who is responsive, transparent, and supportive. Based on my experience, I believe clients may be better served by choosing another attorney.
