David P. Cunningham

I have known David Cunningham for nine years. He has represented me for some misdemeanors and some serious cases. Its been a tough life for me, yet I am fortunate to have David right there by my side. Without David I would have been incarcerated. He has never judged anyone where he would take a case... lightly. I was refered to David by a close family member that had used him during a time in my life that was DEFINENTLY the hardest of my life. I had caught a Major case while in the throws of my aadiction. David is the TRUE definition of an attorney / counselor. I was mixed up in a self-defense case that didn't look good from the start. My first attorney I had was an ex ADA and told me that my case was in no way self-defense. So I told some family about what was happening and that I might be looking at... some real time....20 years. Immediately my aunt and uncle told me that I needed to drop that lawyer and call David Cunningham. I thank GOD for them and that they gave me his number. I called David up the same day and left a message. He called me back the next day and I explained to him what was going on and gave him as much detail as I could over the phone. David met with me in person the following day and we went over my case. From the get go he was awesome. We put a lot of work into my case (about 2-1/2 years) and felt great about it. Well when it finally came time to go to trial cause we were ready. They offered me probation and I accepted it. David was ready to go to trial cause of how strong my case was and how much work we put into it. Ultimately David understood and was happy for the outcome as were we. David also did house visits and would even text me to make sure we were okay during this whole ordeal. I've never heard of a lawyer doing this. David is very professional when it comes to his job but he was also very caring on a personal level cause he knew exactly how it feels to be in a situation like mine. David has been doing this for a very LONG TIME. David is a friend to my family and loved by them as well. I will forever be in his debt. David Cunningham was referred to us at a time when my family did not know where to turn to for legal advice, in regards to my brother's case. The first time around we had recently lost my father and my brother's case just added stress to everyone's plate.
