David P. Cunningham

I have known David Cunningham for nine years. He has represented me for some misdemeanors and some serious cases. Its been a tough life for me, yet I am fortunate to have David right there by my side. Without David I would have been incarcerated. He has never judged anyone where he would take a case... lightly. He is more than an attorney for his clients. He is an understanding person who wants to do more, to protect your life. He researches, finds opportunities and pushes through to make them work. He is honest and humble. He will guide you all the way and explain those things that are unknown to us. He believes we all deserve a second chance and that is something to feel secure about while he working on your situation. His work ethic and values are something that are not easily found.

David took on my (pretty dicey) case with confidence. From our first consultation to the verdict, he thoroughly explained all of my options, and what their implications would be. David is the TRUE definition of an attorney / counselor. I was mixed up in a self-defense case that didn't look good from the start. My first attorney I had was an ex ADA and told me that my case was in no way self-defense. So I told some family about what was happening and that I might be looking at... some real time....20 years. Immediately my aunt and uncle told me that I needed to drop that lawyer and call David Cunningham. I thank GOD for them and that they gave me his number. I called David up the same day and left a message. He called me back the next day and I explained to him what was going on and gave him as much detail as I could over the phone. David met with me in person the following day and we went over my case. From the get go he was awesome. We put a lot of work into my case (about 2-1/2 years) and felt great about it. David asked me what I wanted out of this and I told him either DISMISSED or PROBATION. I had all the confidence in the world in David to take care of my case and get me a great outcome. Well when it finally came time to go to trial cause we were ready. They offered me probation and I accepted it. David was ready to go to trial cause of how strong my case was and how much work we put into it. Ultimately David understood and was happy for the outcome as were we. David also did house visits and would even text me to make sure we were okay during this whole ordeal. I've never heard of a lawyer doing this. David is very professional when it comes to his job but he was also very caring on a personal level cause he knew exactly how it feels to be in a situation like mine. David has been doing this for a very LONG TIME. David is a friend to my family and loved by them as well. I will forever be in his debt. I WILL 100% endorse and recommend David to anyone who is in need of a GREAT defense attorney. David is literally a life saver. Thank you brother! Love you man!!

My family’s experience with Mr. Cunningham has been a great one. We met Mr. Cunningham over a year ago when my father found himself in a difficult situation facing felony charges. David did his absolute best to help my father and he is everything that you would want in a lawyer. A great communicator,... professional, intelligent, knowledgeable and best of all empathetic. David was able to score my father a plea deal that would allow him to do probation and pay a fine. This was the outcome we were hoping for and David made it all possible.
