David P. Cunningham

He was amazing!! First, my lawyer that I hired and worked with for several months died, leaving me in a quandary. But for the grace of God, Mr. David Cunningham came, as a friend of my attorney, to help if I wanted him too. Not knowing I said please. He then went to work for me with all the compassio...n, professionalism, and sense of urgency anyone would appreciate. he took an aggressive stance from the beginning and kept me informed every step of the way. His diligence and dedication to my case won me a dismissal, in no time. The fortunate part is, he WILL be my attorney forever and for any and all advice or help I may ever need. Short version: Distinguished professor of law at UH. Well liked and respected amiable and comforting Honest Efficient Detailed Long Version: David was recommended to me by my best friend (who is a lawyer herself). She knew of him because he was (and I think still is) a distinguished profess...or at the University of Houston and highly respected by his peers. He is well like and trusted, which is a VERY important factor in the court room. My very first visit with David was quite long. He was very detailed and asked questions that I would't have even thought to be relevant. He was easy to talk to and nonjudgemental, which is also an important quality. I could, and probably would, have omitted details that would have resulted in perjury if it weren't for his amiable disposition. Having said that I would not confuse David for my father, holding my hand every single second of the day. He wouldn't have the experience and edge that he does if he wasted his time doing that. He is one of the most efficient people I have met. You will see lawyers that will sit in the courtroom with their clients for four hours fiddling their thumbs, but David will just walk in exactly when the time is right and you will still be the first person out of the courtroom! while the others are still sitting around with their lawyers. In conclusion I would not hesitate to use David again, although I certainly hope I don't have to! I highly recommend him and think he is the best 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th, or..) chance one could ask for.

I havent had a lot of experience with lawyers but if i ever need another one, i hope he is as helpful and attentive as Mr Cunningham is. He went over every aspect of our case and made sure we knew all our options. When we hired him, he assured us that he would only be a phone call away and true to hi...s word he was always available when we had questions. He has even went above and beyond to help in matters not related to the case he was hired for.

I Hired David Cunningham in 2005, When I needed Him or had a Question he neve failed us!
