I highly recommend Shawn Roberts for anyone needing a criminal defense attorney. He was very honest, and easy to communicate. He handled the case with care and kept me updated every step of the way!

There is no other lawyer if you want the job done

I hired Shawn onto my case when I was arrested in Pasadena Texas on a forgery charge a few years ago after the first lawyer I had could not get the courts do offer anything but prison time. The price that Shawn charges for his services is well worth it. I do not think that another lawyer could have g...otten me the outcome that Shawn got me. I was facing up to 2 years in State Jail in Texas. I trusted the process that Shawn went through to get my charges dropped from a state jail felony to a misdemeanor charge. The courts had set me up for a trial and Shawn got them to plead my charge down to the misdemeanor with time served and no additional restitution, from the original offer of 2 years in prison, on the same day that I was supposed to go to trial. I can not thank Shawn enough for everything he did for me on this case and the outcome that he got for me. I am telling you if your life is on the line and do not want to spend time in jail don't hesitate to hire Shawn. He goes above and beyond with his clients and he will not take anything less than no jail time.

My son was facing a Felony charge for possession of marijuana in Texas. My son is young and has his life in front of him a felony charge would definitely challenge his future possibilities. He is a good kid that made a mistake. We were terrified. We had no experience with the law or what to do, Shaw...n met with my us. He explained what he thought he could do. His words felt sincere. He was understanding and concerned. My son's charge was dropped to a misdemeanor class B and hopefully sealed. I was skeptical after I read the internet stories...but I took a chance because he seemed genuine and Shawn did come through!

Most Boss lawyer

I was charged with having a kilo of cocaine and had prior felony convictions. I had heard of Shawn Roberts and he was known as a controversial figure due to his virtual unblemished record in jury trials, but that he had made some enemies doing so, and other attorneys were telling me that I needed som...eone who was “in” with the DA. However, after meeting with him, and speaking with another client that referred me, I knew that he was going to fight for me, and that he was a really good fighter. While the case was pending he was available to meet or talk to pretty much 24/7, and he told me that if I was willing to do a motion to suppress that he felt like he had some issues he could exploit. In the end the case was thrown out and I recommend everyone who needs a “Trial Lawyer “ to call him bc he is the real deal. I have not seen anyone else who has his combination of skill, knowledge, court etiquette and heart. He’s one cool customer and is no sell out.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Shawn is an outstanding lawyer lawyer with a subversive intelligence and quick wit. Unfortunately, he ran into some personal difficulties a decade ago that took him out of the practice of law for a few years. Shawn is back now, though, and his experience with personal adversity gives him a deep empathy for his clients—people facing the worst adversities of their lives—that few lawyers can match."
