Invaluable Asset for your Legal Issues: Shawn R. Roberts

Shawn Roberts was recommended by a family friend, and my parents hired him while I was incarcerated. Due to my circumstances I was not able to do any research prior to hiring him. For those of you that are able to: DO NOT LET THE INTERNET DISTORT YOUR DECISION FROM HIRING THE BEST CRIMINAL DEFENSE AT...TORNEY IN HOUSTON. I was facing a felony charge. I hired Shawn to do one thing, and one thing only; lower my charge to a misdemeanor. I did not hire him to get me out of jail or to get the best plea bargain for a felony charge. I hired him to get my charge lowered. I had all the evidence against me. It was a hard case, but he pulled through and SAVED THE QUALITY OF MY LIFE. Not only did he save the quality of my life, but also saved the quality of life for my children. He is truly irreplaceable when it comes to settling legal issues. Sometimes you may not understand the uncertainty behind his judicial approach just have faith in his ability to do his job. You will not regret the decision to have him represent you. I highly recommend Shawn. I will definitely use him in the future. Hopefully I will not need to, but if I need a criminal defense attorney my first call will be Shawn.

A life saver

I was arrested for a first degree felony drug charge along with a UCW. My cousin said that Shawn Roberts was back in Harris County and was taking cases again. I did hire him and while he was quite expensive, he was worth it! Initially the DA offered 6 years TDC! After he filed his motions and set it... for trial the district attorney dismissed the first degree felony. As a result, now I don't have a record and I can work offshore, vote etc. I went from being scared to death, certain I’d have a felony conviction if I didn’t go to prison.. until he told me that it was dismissed. I am so unbelievably fortunate and blessed and I feel a duty to help others with this review. There is no doubt that God used him to bless me and he was not like a normal good criminal defense attorney. Cocky. Arrogant , etc but from the beginning he gave all the credit for his results to God, and said the same exact thing when he told me it was dismissed. Furthermore Shawn treated me and my mom like family, and I'll always be grateful for him(I still stay in touch to this day and he’s always asking about my family and how I’m doing. He is a smooth operator in the court room and as smart a guy as known. He has the “it” factor. That said, his best attributes are his heart and his integrity/honesty. I recommend him to ANYONE in Texas who needs an experienced trial lawyer for the impossible case or a great criminal defense attorney that gets great plea bargains bc of his trial talents and bc he cares. Shawn Roberts is the best Trial Lawyer in Harris, Brazoria, and Ft Bend counties.

Most Boss lawyer

I was charged with having a kilo of cocaine and had prior felony convictions. I had heard of Shawn Roberts and he was known as a controversial figure due to his virtual unblemished record in jury trials, but that he had made some enemies doing so, and other attorneys were telling me that I needed som...eone who was “in” with the DA. However, after meeting with him, and speaking with another client that referred me, I knew that he was going to fight for me, and that he was a really good fighter. While the case was pending he was available to meet or talk to pretty much 24/7, and he told me that if I was willing to do a motion to suppress that he felt like he had some issues he could exploit. In the end the case was thrown out and I recommend everyone who needs a “Trial Lawyer “ to call him bc he is the real deal. I have not seen anyone else who has his combination of skill, knowledge, court etiquette and heart. He’s one cool customer and is no sell out.

The #1 Trial Lawyer in Houston

I was arrested for a first degree felony and a first degree misdemeanor drug charge in Harris County. I was scared to death but a friend of mine said I needed to hire Shawn Roberts bc he was taking cases again (before he left he was known as the number 1 young lawyer in Texas) and had moved back to t...he country. Thank God I did. He was always there for me, communicated with me and told me the truth about what I was looking at and didn’t sugarcoat anything. While we had to go to court for a number of months, I understood that to get results, it was going to take some time, skill, and effort. Luckily for me everything worked out and he had those qualities. First he got the misdemeanor charge dismissed and later the felony charge was DISMISSED too! So I did not have to plead to anything, praise God. Shawn told me that he prayed a lot for me and my case bc he didn’t know how he was going to beat it. Idk the exact reason, but eventually he got the results he is known for getting. You just have to be patient. I was so happy that I started crying and I think he teared up too, lol. Anyway he’s not a cheap lawyer, ($20k plus range) but he worked with me on payments and I am glad that I trusted him with my life. He’s not just a good dresser and a smooth talker, he’s also got a huge heart and he cares about his clients. I consider him not only my attorney but my friend. My entire life would’ve been ruined if didn’t use him. I truly believe that nobody else could’ve gotten the same results. He is the best drug defense lawyer in Houston, regardless of price.

Great lawyer

Shawn represented me for several years. During that time he handled many matters and was always on point with his advice. He is extremely smart and more importantly for me I could tell he loved what he did and that came out in the work he did on my behalf. I havnt needed a lawyer since then but i...f I do in the future Shawn will definately be the first one I call.

"Shawn is an outstanding lawyer lawyer with a subversive intelligence and quick wit. Unfortunately, he ran into some personal difficulties a decade ago that took him out of the practice of law for a few years. Shawn is back now, though, and his experience with personal adversity gives him a deep empathy for his clients—people facing the worst adversities of their lives—that few lawyers can match."
