I see the previous review about this attorneys political affiliation. First the poster does not even say if he was an actual client or not. Secondly, I hate to bearer of bad news. But all attorneys and judges support some political party. And there are only two main parties which have two mainstream ...ideology. It’s the judges job to make a decision based in law. I doubt a judge would throw out their whole career for Rick Ramos. That said he represented my husband in a civil matter and this attorney is a very hard core litigator. However he can’t not work miracles. I think some people have an unrealistic expectation of results from an attorney. Hiring an attorney does not guarantee the results you want. And for the woman who talks about her daughter’s situation. Though I am compassionate to the situation, I’m certain there is a reason that is based in law and the best interest of the child which can explain why your daughter can’t see her child. In know that there were times when we resisted ricks advice but ultimately he explained that whether we like it or not. The law regarding are issue would only allow certain remedy and strategy. We trusted him and we are satisfied with the results.

Mr. Ramos is my family lawyer. He represented me in a jury trial for a modification of my Decree. He was amazing in trial. Well prepared and organized. Knew the issues thoroughly. A bulldog on cross examination. Has a great paralegal (Jeri Oakley) who is calm and experienced and organized. The...y won me the exclusive right to determine the primary residence of my boys, and after 9 years, my ex has to pay me child support. I wish I had Mr. Ramos back in 2010 when I filed for divorce initially.

I retained Rick for a complex and rather ugly modification and enforcement against me that spanned a few years. He is considered one of the best family lawyers in Houston. He's also very expensive and retainers are high. He does not itemize bills and does not bill in full on a monthly basis. As an at...torney, he's great. He's well versed in case law, which greatly helped me. He is thorough and recalls details. Communication was decent. I had his cell and he would answer or text when needed. His office responds in a decent amount of time. I felt like he got my situation and genuinely cared to protect me and my interests. He helped me dodge false claims, exaggerated enforcements and a whole lot of nonsense. But it cost me a fortune.
