We retained this attorney for our car accident. Worst decision ever. It’s been more than a year. The paralegal is a joke. And the receptionist doesn’t know anything about anything. You can’t get an appointment to see the attorney. You can’t get the attorney on the phone. And the paralegal gives you ...his BS strategy that amounts to nothing. They stopped therapy in December last year after only two weeks. Then suddenly the entire office staff was no longer there according to the new paralegal he was now running the show but NOTHING happened since.

Please don't hire this lawyer to handle any of your business. I hired him for my daughter because we have been fighting to get her son back since he was 3 months he is now 1yrs old no results he took my money then he withdrew from our case no explanation we don't know what's going on with the case no... one will tell us anything. I have tried to call him my daughter tried he won't answer calls nor return them. He is a fast talking crook don't trust him l won't my money back and he needs to be reported to the bar association. We still don't have my grandson and it's been so hard on us especially my daughter

I retained Rick for a complex and rather ugly modification and enforcement against me that spanned a few years. He is considered one of the best family lawyers in Houston. He's also very expensive and retainers are high. He does not itemize bills and does not bill in full on a monthly basis. As an at...torney, he's great. He's well versed in case law, which greatly helped me. He is thorough and recalls details. Communication was decent. I had his cell and he would answer or text when needed. His office responds in a decent amount of time. I felt like he got my situation and genuinely cared to protect me and my interests. He helped me dodge false claims, exaggerated enforcements and a whole lot of nonsense. But it cost me a fortune.

I do not recommend to any situation. He didn't return calls, communicate at all, was never on time or prepared in Court. He gave out attorney-client privileged info against our agreement. In the end, I ended up with an unenforceable Decree. Resolving that is costly. He continues to send me bills..., which my malpractice attorney needs an itemization of. Ramos doesn't itemize his billing. I wouldn't retain Ramos for even a traffic ticket, unless...you want to see first hand "bad lawyering".
