Should have stuck with state provided attorney.

I went with Mr Slider on a felony drug charge after deciding to go to trial instead of taking probation which was offered to me with a court appointed attorney. I made installment payments every month, expecting progress on the case. Instead, every time I went to see the judge Mr. Slider or his a...ssociate would end up coming in at the very last minute with an excuse and end up resetting the court date for the next month. During this time I was having to report for UAs and court appearances on avg 4-5 times a month, having to travel 25 miles while Mr. Slider simply collected my check and came in for no more than 5 min a month. I got fed up with this arrangement after about 5 months and decided I was going to take the probation so I could enter treatment. The plan was to set it up where the judge would allow me to enter a treatment program of my choice after startan probation. Mr. Sliders associate ( Ms. Cavita I believe) showed up looking unprofessional, wearing pink sneakers and was in my opinoon timid about approaching the judge about the arrangement. She pressured me to set up the rehab with my probation officer and to go ahead and sign for 2 years of probation. At this point I had been stressing about this for nearly 5 months, was unable to work and getting behind on my mortgage so I didn't want to reset for another month and ended up signing for probation. Another 4 months later, after struggling with my probation officer to enters rehab I called Ms. Cavita to help me get into the program I originally wanted to enter as I was being forced to see the judge to persuade him for my option of treatmentb after my probation officer suggested a 9 month in jail treatment program. She basically told me she couldn't help. Fortunately the court attorney had my back and nearly a year after being arrested I finally got into treatment. I was able to save my house and have now been sober for nearly a year ( with no help from Mr. Slider and his associate). I strongly advise you choose another attorney as I made the mistake of going cheap and got swindled. Lost a lot of time and money through this poor decision.

Eased my mind

My son is away at college and ended up getting a marijuana charge. I contacted Atty. Slider to consult on the case. His knowledge eased my mind and made my wife and I feel better about what our son was facing. It helped us communicate and ask the right questions when we discussed our sons case with... an attorney in his area. I wish Atty. Slider could practice in other states.

Felony charge down to probation

My brother was arrested along with 2 other friends and they had stolen guns, 5 ounces of cocaine, weed, and bars and we hired slider and Sharma to represent my brother. The other two guys blamed it all on my brother and thankfully my brother walked out with only probation! Oh and they also ran from t...he cops and crashed the car in a ditch they did a great job because he was looking at many years in prison!

Former client

Slider has represented me in 3 of my 4 DWI, 2 of my 3 possession cases, and a serious theft case. I got 3 years probation for a 4th DWI, and he got my 3rd possession charge dropped all together. I was supposed to be doing hard time many years ago. This man has consistently kept me out of prison. I've... gotten more probation than any one person should have. Yes he wants to get paid for his services. The going rate for a felony is $5000. Pay it or get a court appointed. Yes he does always come late. I learned its actually a tactic he uses. If he's not there, they have to reset, which buys you more time, and gives him the room he needs to negotiate. You can believe the bullshit on this page, but you would be a fool not to hire him. He is forthright, and does not mince words. All you have to do is show up, pay him, and let him do what he does. There is a method to the madness. He's not meant to be your friend. He's your attorney. And yes any attorney can drop you as a client if you aren't paying him. He knows how too to handle the DA's in a way I've never seen.

Good lawyer

Mr. Slider was honest about my options in a very embarrassing matter. I was stupid and got arrested on a drug charge.. He didn't sugar coat anything about what I was facing. His fees were affordable and I liked that he was able to get probation for me even tho the prosecutor was pushing hard for jail... time. He stood in front the judge and argued why I deserve probation. With his help I stayed out of jail and my family is supporting my rehabilitation so I can change my life. That's priceless.
