Review

1- Hired, on agreement of installments, on a case 2- For a bail variation request , since alleged victim was not living or presnet at forbidden adress , for 3 weeks he used the excuses of elections at court house , week end , judge would not put him on docket , 3- Court appointed lawyer had bail ...reviewed and signed by judge in less than 36 hours 4- When confronted , he said that the court appointed lawyer was LUCKY. 5- 800 dollars gone , he claims to HAVE TALKED ABOUT MY CASE, but he didn t even put himself on the case. DO NOT HIRE, STAY AWAY

We are sorry you feel this way. When a person has been ordered by a judge to stay away from a particular person or place due to the nature of the case, there are proper ways to have the presiding judge reverse course. Once we are retained and sign on to a case we can speak to the judge on your behalf. If you are still working with a court appointed attorney, then we were not on your case at that time.

Should have stuck with state provided attorney.

I went with Mr Slider on a felony drug charge after deciding to go to trial instead of taking probation which was offered to me with a court appointed attorney. I made installment payments every month, expecting progress on the case. Instead, every time I went to see the judge Mr. Slider or his a...ssociate would end up coming in at the very last minute with an excuse and end up resetting the court date for the next month. During this time I was having to report for UAs and court appearances on avg 4-5 times a month, having to travel 25 miles while Mr. Slider simply collected my check and came in for no more than 5 min a month. I got fed up with this arrangement after about 5 months and decided I was going to take the probation so I could enter treatment. The plan was to set it up where the judge would allow me to enter a treatment program of my choice after startan probation. Mr. Sliders associate ( Ms. Cavita I believe) showed up looking unprofessional, wearing pink sneakers and was in my opinoon timid about approaching the judge about the arrangement. She pressured me to set up the rehab with my probation officer and to go ahead and sign for 2 years of probation. At this point I had been stressing about this for nearly 5 months, was unable to work and getting behind on my mortgage so I didn't want to reset for another month and ended up signing for probation. Another 4 months later, after struggling with my probation officer to enters rehab I called Ms. Cavita to help me get into the program I originally wanted to enter as I was being forced to see the judge to persuade him for my option of treatmentb after my probation officer suggested a 9 month in jail treatment program. She basically told me she couldn't help. Fortunately the court attorney had my back and nearly a year after being arrested I finally got into treatment. I was able to save my house and have now been sober for nearly a year ( with no help from Mr. Slider and his associate). I strongly advise you choose another attorney as I made the mistake of going cheap and got swindled. Lost a lot of time and money through this poor decision.

Mike Slider came through for me when I thought my situation was impossible to win. Professional and willing to work with me on payments to afford his fee. I would recommend Mike Slider to any in need of legal help. He gets it done!

This Lawyer was a GREAT find!!!

I hired Mike Slider to handle two first degree felonies that I was charged with. He was very detailed and attentive while listening to my side of the story. He went over the police report with me and basically walked over the D.A. He also has another attorney that works with him and I felt I was ...getting two for the price of one. They really have a nice law firm and even the legal assistants all seem to know what they are doing. Things run very well there. He does seem to handle many cases, but I think he is in demand for these type of cases. Court was long but I expected to be in court most of the morning anyway since I know good lawyers will take their time with their cases. I have had a few lawyers before and he was not the cheapest nor was he the most expensive out there. I did like the way he was open to payment options I could afford. Overall, I was very satisfied with the way he handled my case and would recommend them to anyone that needed a good lawyer. He even has a big folder on his desk filled with dismissals (mine included)!

Awesome and caring Attorney

Mr. Slider was hired to represent us in a criminal matter. From day one, he was upfront and honest with us. He didn't sugar coat the truth. If you are a person who doesn't want to hear the truth, you may not not like him. But, if you are facing a criminal charge and possible jail time, you want someo...ne who is going to tell you the cold hard truth. He has been 100% responsive. If I call he answers and takes the time to listen to me even when I get on my soap box and start talking about things that are not related to the case. He answers whether I call during or after office hours. Mr. Slider is compassionate and cares about his clients. Mr. Slider doesn't charge exorbitant fees. He was willing to work with us and within our budget. When we were running short on funds, he understood and continued to represent us. I would recommend Mr. Slider and Ms. Sharma. I hope I never need them again; however, if I ever need legal representation, I will be calling Mr. Slider and Ms. Sharma.
