Michael Keith Slider

I went with Mr Slider on a felony drug charge after deciding to go to trial instead of taking probation which was offered to me with a court appointed attorney. I made installment payments every month, expecting progress on the case. Instead, every time I went to see the judge Mr. Slider or his a...ssociate would end up coming in at the very last minute with an excuse and end up resetting the court date for the next month. During this time I was having to report for UAs and court appearances on avg 4-5 times a month, having to travel 25 miles while Mr. Slider simply collected my check and came in for no more than 5 min a month. I got fed up with this arrangement after about 5 months and decided I was going to take the probation so I could enter treatment. The plan was to set it up where the judge would allow me to enter a treatment program of my choice after startan probation. Mr. Sliders associate ( Ms. Cavita I believe) showed up looking unprofessional, wearing pink sneakers and was in my opinoon timid about approaching the judge about the arrangement. She pressured me to set up the rehab with my probation officer and to go ahead and sign for 2 years of probation. At this point I had been stressing about this for nearly 5 months, was unable to work and getting behind on my mortgage so I didn't want to reset for another month and ended up signing for probation. Another 4 months later, after struggling with my probation officer to enters rehab I called Ms. Cavita to help me get into the program I originally wanted to enter as I was being forced to see the judge to persuade him for my option of treatmentb after my probation officer suggested a 9 month in jail treatment program. She basically told me she couldn't help. Fortunately the court attorney had my back and nearly a year after being arrested I finally got into treatment. I was able to save my house and have now been sober for nearly a year ( with no help from Mr. Slider and his associate). I strongly advise you choose another attorney as I made the mistake of going cheap and got swindled. Lost a lot of time and money through this poor decision.

My charge was aggravated robbery & I was facing about 30 years. Prosecutors went down to 20, but wanted my head on a platter. I was reassured over & over everything would turn out great & it did. I got off with a slap on the risk & by that I mean probation for such a serious crime. The first time my ...judge has ever given probation for any crime. That should tell you a lot.

I was referred to Attorney Slider by a mutual friend when my nephew in Jefferson County was arrested for breaking and entering and accessory to grand theft when all he did was unknowingly purchased some lawn equipment for his new business from a former friend that he thought was legitimate. I did not... have money at the time time so Attorney Slider agreed to take on the case pro-bono until I could raise the money for the retainer. During this time he was able to greatly reduce the charges on my nephew. Before court I had only raised $600 which he took and helped my nephew walk on most of the charges. He guided us through getting character letters and references for my nephew as well giving us info on appropriate attire and grooming to where to court. He even donated a necktie. After it was all said and done I ended up paying Attorney Slider another $400 which totaled $1000 total for basically saving my nephew's life. I would recommend Attorney Michael Slider to anyone I know!

I have been dealing with micheal slider for years, and i must say the guy is a blessing. Many times ive worried about my cases and he would always tell me to just chill, by being a habitual felon the guy has done wonders to keep me from going back to prison something even other lawyers told me weren...'t possible for me but not slider he told me he wasnt going to let me go back and thats ecaclty what he did, his partner sharma is like a lil sis to me and she kicks ass too i love them both and would recomend this firm to anybody. But people dont sweat him on your case just let him do his majic!!!!!!
