Eleanor “Cori” Curry is an entrepreneur and attorney with a passion for entrepreneurship and community. Her practice focuses and business and real estate transactional matters and has grown to include specialty focuses in opportunity zones and hemp production in Texas.
As a cum laude graduate of the illustrious Florida A & M University from the five year MBA program she learned early the possibilities that come with the willingness to take chances. She immediately put her business acumen to use working as a Chief Operating Officer for a million dollar physician practice. She utilized her skills in recognizing opportunity and effectively reacting through training and strategic planning in identifying the need for commercial real estate professionals in the healthcare industry. She became a licensed commercial real estate broker and worked to assist physicians and business owners in finding their best fit in real estate for their business operations. In a desire to expand her negotiating and analysis perspective she entered law school to add the law to her strong business skillset.
Upon graduation she proceeded to form The Curry Law Firm where she services clients focusing on small business strategic and operation needs as well as real estate transactions. She has incorporated exciting business opportunity knowledge into her practice, frequently sharing information on Opportunity Zones, commercial leasing and hemp through her YouTube Channels and speaking engagements.
Eleanor’s commitment to service in her community has included being President of the Young Leaders of the Intown Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Urban League, NBMBAA, Junior League, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and a board member of ICON Women’s Organization. Eleanor Curry resides in Third Ward, Houston, Texas where she also works to renovate and revitalize older properties in the area.
