Not professional. Rarely returns calls. Does not read texts or emails. Paralegal is horrible. Dismissed herself on the day of my trial because of heresy from opposing counsel. Truly a waste of time and money. I was very saddened and disappointed. I was hopeful based on our initial conversation and he...r reviews. Don’t always believe what you read. I especially was hopeful because she was a woman. Never again. I had never received anything, including a retainer, in writing. Very sad legal practice. Her conversations involve a lot of yelling and she rarely allows you to speak. I would never recommend Ms De La O.

I called and left a voice message to inquire about services on April 10, 2018, and Daney called me back minutes later and we discussed my situation she agreed with me stating that I had substantial evidence to build a case against my previous landlord. She told me that she would send over the retaine...r agreement the next day and after the retainer agreement was signed and retainer fee was collected; she would draft a letter asking for my full security deposit back from my previous landlord. So when I received the retainer agreement I signed it and hired Daney De La O to settle my tenant vs landlord dispute. Well, almost two months later I have not heard anything, other than a quick question from Daney sent to me roughly two weeks later after I signed the retainer agreement. I've called multiple times and the phone would ring a few times before going to voicemail, sent emails trying to get some sort of update, and I even stop by her office on Blodgett St on May 15th and STILL NOTHING! I have no other choice but take my grievance up to the State Bar of Texas.

We moved into a home in Chanelview from out of town. I had specified that mold must me re-mediated under kitchen sink. When we moved in the mold was still under the sink, the house was filthy and the gas company flagged the property for carbon monoxide when we turned the gas on. Owners had advertised... 1250 for rent with security alarm, but on move in told us it would be 1300$ for rent with alarm. Well after the gas company came we left. We were in the house 2 days. The owner at first agreed to let us terminate the lease and would pay us back, then rescinded on this. We got Daney right away. She took our case and sent out demand letters. A few days later we got our money back and walked away from our lease. If your in a home and it is not what was advertised, unsafe, or lease has been violated call Daney De La O, get out and get your money back.
